Beautiful, Beefy, Easy To Hold Calphalon Peeler with Non-Slip Handle
I wanted to get my kitchen utensils organized as I had a mish mash of different materials. I looked at a lot of different brands because my goal was to standardize on a single brand as much as possible, so a large range of utensils from the brand is important. I chose to go with this Calphalon range of utensils, and specifically the silicone handled line.➡️ FIRST AN FYI✅ CALPHALON JUST RELEASED TWO NEW UTENSIL LINES, ONE WITH THESE COLORED HANDLES AND ONE WITH BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL HANDLES.➜ IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO STANDARDIZE ON A SINGLE UTENSIL LINE, and want to compare the aluminum handles versus the plastic handles like this one (which looks and feels like silicone), you might want to check out my reviews on Calphalon Spatulas (which they call "turners" for some odd reason). I got a slotted spatula with the silicone handle and then a standard spatula with the aluminum handle.⭐ NOW THE LONGFORM REVIEW ⭐➡️ ALL THESE NEW CALPHALON UTENSILS OFFER A "LIMITED 5 YEAR WARRANTY"➜ This is really good for utensils, but not the standard Calphalon lidetime cookware warranty (which I actually used to replace a 20 year old pot, believe it or not)!➡️ THIS PEELER IS BEAUTIFUL!➜ This peeler is a stunner! I mean, if you had a thing for peelers, you would seek out this peeler for sure!➜ The navy handle has a beefy, rounded angular shape, with a chic branded brushed aluminum end cap.➡️ THE HANDLE IS REALLY EASY TO USE AND HOLD.➜ This peeler feels hefty but not uncomfortably so. It feels more "reliable" to me.➜ I like the rounded square shape as I don't have to grip this as tightly as other utensils. It just feels easy to hold.➡️ GREAT FOR PEELING POTATOES OR ANYTHING WHERE MY HANDS GET A BIT WET➜ This peeler has 2 sharp bladesand peels potatoes and carrots easily.➜ ⚠️ I wish the details showed what type of stainless steel used for tthe blades. It would give me a better idea of how long this should last, but I'm glad it has a 5 year warranty.➜ The non-slip handle comes in handy when I'm peeling potatoes or anything where my hads get a bit wet.➡️⚠️ THIS PEELER IS MARKED ON "HAND WASH ONLY" ON THE BACKER CARD ATTACHED TO THE PEELER.➜ I've noticed a lot of listing details show this incorrectly, but this clearly marked hand wash only.➜ Even when hand washing, I avoid submerging this, since I think water could seep in where the metal attaches to the silicone on the handle.➡️ I AM A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT DURABILITY SINCE THIS IS HAND WASH ONLY, BUT WHEN I USE THIS.➜ I haven't had any issues yet, but I'm glad this has a warranty.Overall, I like this peeler a lot, and it's definitely an upgrade to my old peeler. It's very functional and beautiful, which makes me feel a little bougie when peeling potatoes, so there's that.

Amazing peeler! Peeling isn't a chore but a breeze!
I have needed a new peeler for a while but apparently I'm very particular about them (who knew?!) and have been unable to find a suitable replacement for one that I had ages ago. Unfortunately, this is one of those preferences you just don't really figure out until you try any potential replacement. In fact, I feel a bit ridiculous for being this excited about a veggie peeler. lolThis peeler is pretty much everything I had been looking for and I don't say that lightly. I have tried 3-4 other peelers and hated them and still was using the older one that needed replacing UNTIL THIS ONE.The blades are super sharp and I love that it came with a blade cover- maybe it was just for transport but it's durable enough to keep using and protect the blades while in the drawer. There is also enough space between the blades and the curved head so that it doesn't jam if you're on a marathon peeling session, especially with carrots or potatoes. Additionally, the blade itself is on the larger size and SHARP so peeling is a breeze and the peels don't get annoyingly stuck to it.The weight and grip on this with the silicone coated handle makes it feel incredibly sturdy but also like you mean business too.I'm so impressed with this peeler - it's exactly what I've been looking for and now I can finally replace the several that will never measure up to this one.

Solid everyday peeler that feels built to last
I have gone through a lot of peelers over the years and most feel flimsy or dull pretty fast. This one feels noticeably heavier in a good way and more stable in your hand. The rubber handle has good grip even when my hands are wet and I do not need to squeeze hard to keep control. The blade came very sharp and peeled potatoes and carrots smoothly without clogging or sticking.I like that it feels balanced and comfortable during longer prep sessions. It also came with a blade cover which I actually use since it keeps the drawer safer. Hand wash only is a small downside if you are used to tossing tools in the dishwasher but it cleans easily by hand. Compared to cheaper peelers this feels like an upgrade that should hold up for years and for me the extra weight and grip make prep less annoying overall.

Solid, Dependable
I'm really happy with this little peeler. It's actually much heftier than I was expecting, definitely more solid than the cheap one I've been using for years. The handle is smooth and has some nice grip to it. I also love the color. The blades are sharp and get the job done well. I've been able to peel several potatoes without issue. I've also had a good experience using it with carrots. I would definitely order this again, though I have a feeling this one will last me for a long time.

Like knife through butter
This is nice as its not too thick in your hand, so when peeling veges your hand doesn't get fatigued quickly. I have peeled several zucchinis over time and the blade is still sharp. I don't know how long it will hold up but for now it's working really well at what i'm using it for. Whether a firm or lose grip, the blade glides through anything that needs peeling.
