Gorgeous flatware
These are really beautiful and delicate and I love how they feel to use. They do get a little bit tarnished after some use, but have otherwise held up well

I really liked this silverware set from cambridge. It has a very modern look, with very lightweight slim utensils that are incredibly rigid. In addition to stainless steel they use polyoxymethylene plastic, which has incredible strength properties and is often used in precision mechanics. The individual shapes of each utensil are elegant, with the knife being my favorite with its sloping bold curves. I found the combination of the white plastic, which almost feels and looks like ivory (almost) and the stainless steel to be a sophisticated element as well. These are dishwasher safe with a 25 year warranty (company has been around for about 30 years). I personally think the price is a bit high, but between the design, materials, craftsmanship, warranty, and giftability I am giving this set 5 stars.
This is a very pretty set of flatware. It looks very modern and elegant. The set is made with high-grade stainless steel and white plastic. The workmanship is excellent, and the set is really quite light in weight. When you hold a piece in your hand, it feels well balanced and lighter than what you are probably used to. I like it even though it is a bit pricey. The set would make a wonderful gift and comes packaged nicely. I would recommend this flatware set.
Was looking for a new set of silverware for our kitchen that we upgraded recently to go along with a new set of dinnerware and came across this silverware set by Cambridge and decided to pull the trigger on it.The set it self looks very elegant. So much so, that I was hesitant to use them when I got them but they go and match so much with our set of plates so we decided to use them. They are pretty comfortable in the hand to use but they are a little thin. But overall, love the look and feel and how they match my kitchen theme.
Let's be honest, the advertisement looked great, and the pictures were amazing but when the flatware arrived it was unusable. They are elegant but non-ergonomic so I don't know if anyone would enjoy them. It's hard to pick up anything with these utensils so perhaps the only choice is to redesign them to make them usable. I can't recommend it to anyone!
I recently ordered the white 20-piece flatware set. I've never had a cohesive set of flatware and was excited to receive these. I was disappointed though when I pulled these out of the box. The weight distribution is not right. The handles are lightweight, long and thin and the other end is heavy. At almost $150 (at time of review), these are not worth it.
OI ordered this set of flatware to compliment my white china. It does that and looks nice in a table setting, but that's pretty much where my liking them stops. Firstly, I feel they are over-priced, at least for plastic handled flatware. Secondly, the shape and size are NOT dishwasher friendly, unless you put them in head down, they get stuck and fall through the silverware cage/basket holes, and thus, impede the arm of the dishwasher itself, messing with it's operation. Boo-hiss! Not cool to discover that your dishes are not clean due to this mishap. (I do not like positioning my silverware that way as I like to have the eating ends up for better cleaning and fit into the basket). These do nothing to make them worth the steep-ish price in my opinion,Yes, they are stylishly chic, and very MCM retro in appearance, but I want a set of flatware that are no muss, no fuss, and look good doing their intended job! This is not that set!You can find a better Flatware set, at a lower price point! (At nearly $45.00 per place setting is too high a price for these, when I feel the entire 20 piece set should cost about that!)Yes, they are pretty, but a value they aren't!3 "dishwasher-don't" stars!
