I purchased this ice cube tray to elevate my mocktails for parties with my friends. I was surprised at how easy it was to use. I had perfect ice cubes on my first try. The mold is easy to put together and easy to pop out once frozen. I also appreciated the plugs and the funnel for easy pouring. The look of the cubes are beautiful once they are finished and elevate my mocktails as hoped!
Works and looks exactly as described- fantastic! If you want to add a bit of sophistication to your cocktail, these rose ice spheres are perfect. If you prefer a drink, slightly cooler than room temperature, but not watered down, these esthetically pleasing ice roses work very well vs rocks/stones. They look awesome in a glass, and remove very easily from the mold. The melt is slow, compared to ice cubes, and a two finger pour of bourbon can be consumed with ease without undue concern of watering down the drink….or having to “throw it down - cowboy style”. The only criticism is the diminutive funnel, provided to aide in filling the mold. It does work as designed but can easily be misplaced, due to size; if it could self store on the mold itself it would end the “Where’s Waldo” hunt to locate it. Great product and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase it again.
This worked great to create rose shaped Iced cubes. They released well from the mold and were easy to fill, didn't need the funnel. I also question how important the plugs are. One thing I don't like it the plugs are ice colored. If you have this in an ice bucket in the freezer like I do and you drop a plug it's very difficult to find. I had to dump the whole ice bucket into a bowl and sort the ice cubes out to find one of the plugs I dropped. Maybe draw an X or color then tops in with a sharpie to prevent losing the caps in ice.
Actually worked! Can add juice for various colors. Roses come out clearly defined. It should come with a storage box to keep tray and all the little pieces together.
These work great, love the little funnel. Easy to make full, round 3D ice cubes. Just be sure to put the mold on a flat surface that you can put directly into the freezer because it is a bit wobbly. Wish they had extra of the little tops because I lost one. Happy with this purchase.
