I used these for a science experiment. Great value for money. They are made for "taller" pots. Build quality seems good for the money. Accuracy seems to be pretty spot on. The stove tops were set at 2 different temperatures. They were slightly different.Easy to use. Make sure you take the red caps OFF before you use them! Otherwise, they will melt...Otherwise, no problems with functionality.

Nice stainless steel candy thermometers. Accurate per my heat gun. Liked the pan holder. Used for deep frying.
Easy to use and seems accurate. it has a strong clip-on to attach to the side of a pot; it stays put, but moves fairly easily if you want to reposition it. Since I use it exclusively for candy-making, I can't speak to its value as a deep fry thermometer.
I make candy, mostly peanut brittle, and a thermometer is a must. This thermometer hooks onto the pan and is easy to read. I also need it for making yeast breads and rolls. This is a must for any kitchen. I recommend.
