The Cangshan 503831 Bamboo In-Drawer Knife Organizer is a sophisticated solution for keeping your kitchen knives secure and organized. Designed to hold up to 15 blades—8 small and 7 large—this bamboo organizer provides a practical alternative to traditional countertop knife blocks, allowing you to save valuable counter space while ensuring your knives are readily accessible.
One of the standout features of this organizer is its versatility; one of the larger slots can accommodate either a honing steel or a knife, which gives you flexibility in how you store your kitchen tools. With a sleek design, the Cangshan Bamboo In-Drawer Knife Organizer not only enhances organization but also adds an aesthetic touch to your kitchen drawers.
Great knife holder, excellent construction.I would definitely buy this one again
This was great with the curved blades of the Cangshan knives that we bought, but after we returned the knives, the new brand we chose did not fit as nicely in it, so it went back too.
I will stay by saying the craftsmanship on this item is wonderful. Right out of the box, it is clear they invested quality materials and thought into most elements of this knife block. We've owned a few over the years and this is by far the heaviest and best constructed. There are bumpers on the corners, which I love because it minimizes shifting in a larger drawer like ours, but it does make it a bit taller, which will be an issue for shallow drawers. You CAN remove these if they present an issue for you. That said, this is not for your average-sized kitchen drawer, so please make sure you measure and pay attention to the depth of your drawer. Once you put larger knives in, you may not be able to close it and it just wasn't really designed for taller knives. I also prefer the ones that have a closure at the top so the longer knives can't slide too far forward because that can be dangerous. This is likely why we won't use this one longterm.Would I Buy This? No* I feel like the category has other options that are more well-rounded but I still gave it 3 stars because it is a good product in certain areas.Value for the price: OK* There are definitely other options at a lower price point that are just as effective.
I love having my knives organized in a drawer rather than out on my counter. Works amazing!
This is a very solid, nice looking knife organizer. Excellent way to put your knives in the drawer if you don't have sleeves for them to protect the edges of the blades, and also your (and anyone else in the household) fingers/hands. I love the size of it, the way it looks is great and the fact it fits into my drawer with the side section available for my large pizza cutter and scraper, along with measuring cups/spoons.The main drawback - and is probably more due to the fact that my drawer is probably more on the shallow side, is the handles of the big white handled knives I have - (Wally World's big cousin brick and mortar knives) - they have a bigger handle and I had to shift them so that the handle hangs off the edge of the holder to be able to shut the drawer. My other knives, the Tops Chef knife and the Global boning knife I had no issues with. (And no issues with the small paring knives, obviously)I really like this holder I just installed into the drawer instead of just having my knives piled into the drawer. No digging through the pile to find the particular knife I want to use - available to see right off the bat.If buying - just pay attention to the depth of your drawer and the thickness of the handles of your knives. That may be a small issue. But all in all this is an excellent holder and am very happy with it!!
The organizer was a little bigger and heavier than I had anticipated, but that's a good thing in my opinion! Made of solid bamboo wood, the organizer takes up most of my knife drawer, but that is something I was looking for also. I have a lot of knives and this fit all of them! You do need to use a little caution when positioning the knives into it, on mine I didn't have one in right and the handle popped up and made the drawer stick, but no loss of stars, that was user error. This is a very high quality product, nothing cheap about it (including the price point... urghhh...) and has really made a nice touch for my kitchen that I have been so desparately trying to reorganize!
I have a couple of Damascus steel knives from this brand, so I figured this knife rack would be a great addition to my kitchen. It turns out I was right. This is a great organizer. It can hold 15 knives of various sizes, looks nice, and feels pretty sturdy.I needed an organizer to fit a giant drawer included in our new cabinets, so this fit the bill. It was big enough to fill the drawer from front to back, with a little extra room. This enabled us to organize the knives and barbecue tools and fit additional items in the drawer. This organizer definitely fulfilled its purpose. As much as I like this organizer, I don't know that it is priced well at $50. I think it could easily be $10-$15 cheaper. Even if it is just a bit overpriced, I think it is still worth considering. Ultimately it will help save some money by not having to replace knives as often, and keeping them from getting dull.I am pretty happy with the organizer, and have had great experiences with the brand overall. I am glad I got it, and look forward to continuing to use it for a long time.
