Beautiful, sturdy, easy to handle, complete set....
This is a very nice flatware set. It not only is a set for 8, it comes with the serving ware as well for a complete package. They are well balanced and wash very easily. They CAN go in the dishwasher but the insert recommends hand washing and since I hand wash everything here anyway, this will work fine for me to keep them the optimum nice. Never have I ever had such a nice flatware set. The forks work great, the spoons are sturdy so as not bend up in firm ice cream and the knives are serrated for better cutting power. I'm just over the moon with this set. It is NICE!!! Highly recommended.

The Most Exquisite & Elegant Flatware I Have Ever Owned!
Allow me to begin by saying that I have never owned such exquisite and elegant flatware in my entire life. For the entirety of my existence, all of my flatware has either been passed down, or obtained second hand through yard sales and flea markets. I have never purchased a brand-new flatware set in my life. After a recent move, I found myself completely without any utensils. Fortunately, I stumbled across this set from Cangshan, and decided to order it.Included in this 47-piece set are 8 dinner forks, 8 salad forks, 8 dinner knives, 8 teaspoons, 8 tablespoons, as well as some additional bonus utensils consisting of a cake server, soup ladle, decorative slotted spoon, sugar spoon, serving spoon, and finally, a butter knife. This is quite an extensive set, and could easily serve as your all-in-one flatware solution. Each of the utensils are constructed from stainless steel, making them strong and sturdy, complete with a beautiful mirror finish. These utensils truly scream elegance!The first utensils I tested were the salad and dinner forks. They each feel very nice in the hand, and the stainless steel construction offers a nice and sturdy heft. I will say that the balance with these utensils in particular could use some work. The end of the handles are slightly too heavy, and the fork naturally wants to tilt out of your hand as a result. This is not the end of the world, you just have to grip the fork a little tighter to compensate. That is my only complaint as it pertains to this set.Next up were the spoons. As with the forks, these utensils are nice and sturdy, which means that I can finally dish out ice cream without bending my serving spoon in half. The fact that this set included both teaspoons and tablespoons is awesome. The spoons are perfectly sized, and perfectly balanced. Moving onto the dinner knives, they each have a very nice serrated edge that cuts well, and they too are very sturdy, with a perfectly balanced handle. Absolutely beautiful.I have yet to use them, but fear not, you can expect the same quality for each of the included bonus utensils. Lastly, I wanted to discuss washing. The utensils are advertised as dishwasher safe, but inside of the package there is a pamphlet that recommends handwashing. After reading some other reviews, I will stick to handwashing my utensils. This is no big deal for me because thankfully, they wash very easily due to their finish.In conclusion, I could not be more thrilled to own this flatware set from Cangshan. Sure, the price is nothing to sneeze at, but when taking into consideration just how comprehensive a set this is, along with the quality of the utensils, and finally, the prices of other manufacturers, I believe this set is worth every penny of the asking price. With proper care, these utensils should last for many, many years to come. I look forward to my continued use of these utensils, and I also look forward to showing them off to my guests. I would highly recommend this set from Cangshan.
