I get the hype now.

I have tried for years to chop like a chef. That rock motion instead of the hatchet job I normally do. I could never get it. I just took this out of the package to kinda test how it feels in my hand. Did a little air chop motion and was shocked. My hand and wrist were naturally rocking. I was then chopping celery and carrots just for the fun of it. Super high-quality Damascus patterned all purpose knife for professionals or serious at home cooking! This knife is very nice and it has a 6” inch perfectly even 16° angled blade on both sides that has some weight to it for perfectly sliced vegetables, meat and just about anything you can think of. And this blade is sharp. The blade is made wider for better control when cutting thicker foods. The higher quality of this knife and my other knives do not compare. The handle is also very high-quality with one strong copper rivet. I love the craftsmanship so much and this one knife does it all. Also this knife includes a very nice magnetic sheath that stays on strong as well. I love everything about this beautiful knife and I think it is a great price for this high quality and excellent precision, well crafted knife. Well balanced, wooden handle feels good in your hand

One of the most important things about a knife is that it fits and feels good in your hand… and this one feels great! The wooden handle is on the smaller size, but feels good to grip without feeling tiny. Blade holds a really nice edge, even out of the box… I guess I might not be use to having a knife this sharp as it almost seems to stick to the chopping board. I kind of want it a little less sharp 😆. The 6in is a little short for chopping large veggies, but for small ones (carrots, cucumbers, herbs, etc) it works great. I don’t have a place in my knife block for it, so I am happy that it comes with a sheath to protect it while sitting in the drawer.

This is a very nice looking knife, I haven't found many Damascus knives that I did not like the look.It comes sharp out of the box with a decent sheath but I always recommend storing these in a block or on a magnetic strip to reduce the chance of dulling the knife.I ran it across my sharpener just to ensure there was not a burr and then cut up a variety of proteins. This knife made short work of everything I threw at it. It feels nice in the hand and is fairly balanced... I have held better and worse.This is a great knife for the price and I will serve you nicely as a cutting tool or a display piece. Great buy.
