My New Favorite Knife!

I chose this knife because I am somewhat of a knife collector. Upon receiving this knife, however, I unexpectedly and surprisingly made this my new favorite knife! The sheath is magnetic, which is a first for me. I love it! It's a durable sheath which protects the blade when stored away. The balance of the knife is impeccable in my hand. The full tang is also a plus. The finish of the layering doesn't look fake, as layering does in most other knives. It also comes razor sharp, which isn't a given nowadays. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price. This knife is easily worth twice the price!

Sharp, premium-priced chef’s knife with value packaging / accessories

This knife looks great and is very sharp. I used it exclusively to rock chop vegetables on a polyethylene cutting board for a week. The handle grip is firm and balanced. The knife glides well and makes quick work of chopping vegetables.I’m slightly concerned about oxidation on the blade after just a week. I washed/dried it by hand after each use and kept in it its sheath, which is made of non-porous heavy plastic which, in hindsight, probably trapped residual moisture on the knife. I’ll stop using the sheath.This knife is premium priced but I was disappointed in the plastic sheath and the clamshell- like packaging more typical of department store knives. I expected more for the price.

My new go-to chef's knife

I really enjoy using this knife. So far I've used it to chop raw chicken, onions, leaks, garlic, and parsley. It is incredibly sharp and cut through everything with ease. It is also comfortable to hold. I also think it's a very handsome looking knife, which is a bonus. The Damascus is apparent, and while not as shiny as some other Damascus knives is still very nice looking. At this point I'm liking this knife so much that I've decided to use it as my primary chef's knife. The knife also comes with its own magnetic sheaf, which can be handy for storage or transport.

This knife is pretty enough to hang on a wall for decoration. It is clearly very high quality. The weight and feel in your hand is perfect, although I wish the handle edges were just slightly more formed to the shape of your hand. It is so incredibly sharp you have to be very careful. The handle and blade look like artwork. It is a perfect knife for a special gift but even better if you get to keep it for every day use.
