I have been canning for several decades and these are my first purchase that weren't a name brand. I can't see any difference between these and the branded ones. They are just as easy to use, seal well, fit my jars and are of excellent quality. I expect these to continue to be as functional as well as my branded purchases and plan to return to buy more. For the money, it is by far the better financial choice for my money.
Works great
These are more for back ups for me. I always lose or misplace what I have or it gets forgotten and it rusts over time. 12 sets of wide mouth jar lids and it’s perfect for any canning or just storing food items that needs an airtight lid to seal for freshness. That only thing I didn’t like about it and that reason for 4 stars is that it came in a flat package. It’s laid separately instead of stacked like how you’d normally see it.
These are amazing quality, they're very durable. They're exactly what I needed to finish canning . I like the color and size and they are a perfect fit for my jars. They twist on smoothly and fit snug. They're very sturdy and held up perfectly in my canner. They stay sealed, yay. They're also easy to wash which is great. Amazing quality and value for money. I highly recommend.
As other reviewers have noted, these fit all brands of wide-mouth jars perfectly. I have quite a collection of wide mouth jars in different shapes and sizes, and these fit snugly and tightly.The metal lids tend to rust and warp after a while, so it was nice to have an opportunity to review these and refresh my stash of lids. They arrived well packaged and popped right onto my jars with no problems.At the time of this review, these were more economical than buying the replacement lids at my grocery store.
In the past I have had lids that did not seal properly resulting in a loss of food or having to freeze product. I received these lids and rings toward the end of canning season, but was able to try a couple. The lids and rings fit wide mouth jars properly and under pressure sealed as expected. Just to confirm I had a good seal, I open one of the jars. The seal was extremely tight!
Decent quality lids. Sealing ring appears to be uniform. Easy to use with vacuum sealer or waterbath/pressure canning. Hope they last in storage. Functionality is on par with name brand lids. If i have any issues i will update as time goes on. Good value for the money.
