Contains everything you need to start canning. I was especially surprised to find some added gift items from the seller. How thoughtful, even an apron! I have been away from canning for many years. When my son was given many pounds of plums from a neighbor's tree, I decided to give it a go once again. I liked all the items in this kit. All seemed durable and well made and were easy to use. Pot is a wonderful size and can be used for boiling pasta, etc.
A little birdie told us that our son was interested in trying canning, so we got him these things and a beautiful pot for Christmas. Out of the box it’s all beautiful, and seems to be very well made.
This was exactly I needed as a new canner. It can will all the tools needed to can and all worked great. The pot was the perfect size.
I'm a 50 yr canner and I bought 2 of these. One for the farm and one for AZ home. I can alot and this set has EVERYTHING for waterbath method and steaming. Love this!
Great starter kit for canning. All the supplies are included and a few fun free gifts. There was no smell to the products. The pan isn't as thick as I would have liked, but seems to have no issues with heating or maintaining the heat. Easy to clean..My only complaint would be that the round metal piece does not fit into the pan evenly as it has a slight bend-hence the 4 stars!

Love love love the whole set. It even came with specially labeled free gifts. The pot was dented on the side☹️but my husband was able to fix it. So disappointed with that part. Probably was damaged during shipping even though it was packaged well
