These heavy canvas bags are huge. The stiching is fine and carefully done. My old bags had long straps and the bags hung too close to the ground. I do not shoulder the bags, but let them hang from my hands. These Dwscroad grocery bags also have short handles. I found them easier to use than the 21 inch shoulder straps.
I ordered large and that's exactly what I needed. The quality of the bags are very durable and strong. It's so much better than having to deal with plastic or paper bags.
Excellent quality canvas, and the build quality is top notch. I am very pleased with these bags, lots of space and pockets. I highly recommend these bags. :)

Very sturdy and roomy
These are like the perfect combination of two of my favorite bags! I really like them. First, they have two sets of handles, much like the huge tyvek-type bags from Costco. The outer set of handles is long, and the inner set is shorter, ensuring that you can hold the bag where appropriate for the contents. Second, it's sturdy canvas, not quite as thick as my Trader Joe's tote from 30 years ago, but I'd say at least twice as thick as the replacement I bought about 10 years ago. They're not quite as large as the Costco bags, which is good--I find the Costco bags great for Costco home goods but unwieldy for groceries. These have a huge capacity, but not that huge. I dislike making multiple trips into the house with my groceries, so these are perfect for preventing a second trip. But the other area that exceeds expectations in this bag is the pockets. There are two pockets on the outside, one on each end. That's great! But the manufacturer didn't quit there. There are also pockets on the inside! The *entire* inside is lined with pockets, with dividers periodically so there are essentially 6 interior pockets. They are about 3/4 as deep as the outer wall, and like I said, circle the entire inner wall. I haven't noticed any stitching defects on any of my bags. The color is a little plain, I haven't tried to dye them, so don't know how well they would hold dye, but it seems like they could be dyed for a little more excitement.
Can we give more than five stars?! 😅These generous size bags are amazing! The capacity of these bags allows for a large load of carrying. I’ve done a lot with them so far, but one of the big trips was all of our Christmas presents to travel with went in them. They hold SO MUCH!Theirs two different size “handles/ straps” so, that is nice.The canvas material is the best way to go. It’s extremely durable and washes up beautifully.I love that these bags can easily fold up and be taken along, without taking up much room.The functionality of these bags is amazing! .. From using at the grocery store, taking laundry to the laundromat, using for a weekend getaway bag, sports equipment, or like I did a bag of gifts ☺️I promise you will find many uses for these bags. And they will hold up for many years to come. This is a product made with care for the customer.Absolutely 5 stars!
