Included in this all in one set is a reusable leak=proof dip cup and a reusable utensils set.This box is leak=proof with an upgraded groove designed silicone sealing ring that engages with the tray, this prevents leaks between the compartments! There are four durable latches to keep food fresh and make it leak proof inside and out.This is kid friendly. My grandson had no issues opening and closing the latches. Excellent bento box for kids or adults
This bento box comes with a sauce container and fork and spoon. The sauce container fits into any partition inside and the cutlery has a special compartment. The colors are playful but an adult could absolutely get away with using this for their lunch too.The seal has never let me down, the gasket is very thick and it hasnt budged yet. And I've put it to the test with fruit in syrup, hotdog water, even spagettios. aside from the inability to leak, it holds in the heat or coolness well. I always pack it in another bag with ice when neccessary to keep cold so I can't judge it alone on that but when i pack hot lunch it stays warm until lunch every time. Ive had food come home from school cold and hot on more than one occasion. It must be a good quality material they use to make it. And when you hold it you can feel it is thicker than some of these other boxes out there. My kids beat it up pretty bad the way they haul around their things and it hasn't cracked at all. Not even scratched. It hasn't stained either. Now that I can assure you is a feat.It has 4 latches, one for each side. They are easy to open and close but it can be difficult to detach the lid from the box. I feel like a pull tab on one of the edges would solve this little issue quickly and cheaply. To be fair, my 5 year old is the only one in the family that can't open it without assistance. My 7yo has no problem. It's just like a vacuum seal you have to pop.The price of lunch boxes, especially bentos are astronomical as of late but I would pay more on the high side if they were all this quality. I have paid more for boxes that cracked in a couple days.
