I got this Capybara mug for my friend and she absolutely loves it! The design is super cute and unique. The ceramic feels high quality, and the lid makes it perfect for both home and on-the-go use. It holds a good amount of coffee or tea (16 oz!) and is just such a fun and thoughtful gift. If you know someone who’s a fan of capybaras or just loves quirky mugs, this is a must-have!
I got this capybara mug for tea, because it's cute and I like that it has a lid. When it arrived, it was so adorable that after I washed it, I ended up putting on display on a shelf, rather than in the cupboard. The design is great, the mug is totally usable, but the happy little capybara makes me smile every time I see it on the shelf, so there it will stay.If you DO actually use it as a mug, it holds 16 oz, which is great for a good-sized cup of coffee or tea. The lid fits well but only sets on top, there is no seal, so don't plan to use it for travel or anything. It's dishwasher safe, although I washed it by hand. The ceramic is heavy and it feels well-made. I just love it!
This is a really cute capy cup! I love how delicate the whole thing is, though it makes me nervous to do more than just place it on a shelf and stare at it while I make cocoa in my regular coffee cup. The lid top is a completely separate piece and is super thin. The capy itself holds a good amount of liquid and warms up really nice to hold onto it. I'm just worried as heck that I'll break the dang thing.
This mug is absolutely adorable. The lid fits perfectly on top. It holds just the right amount of coffee in the morning. For the value it's worth every penny and I will be buying more. My favorite cup to use it's nice and solid in my hand.
I ordered this capybara ceramic mug for my niece as a Christmas gift because for whatever reason, she is obsessed with them. I have to admit, the mug is adorable. And let me tell you, she flipped after opening it and seeing what it was. I paired it with chai tea (her favorite) and a frother and she thought it was perfect. It is fragile, but I know she'll take good care of it. It arrived well packaged also. The only down side is that it's not easily washable without a small scrub brush due to its design. Overall, it's a neat mug for personal use or gifting to someone special.
It pains me to do this, but I must give this capybara mug a less than 5 star rating. Don’t get me wrong, this is a cute mug, and easily recognizable as a capybara. It has a squarish, protruding muzzle, the lazy eyes, the anchor shaped noes and mouth parts. You definitely wont mistake this for something else like a ground squirrel or prairie dog. As a mug it has a large handle, it’s glazed inside and out which I believe is necessary to make it suitable for drinking from. It has a large capacity inside, the inside follows the contours of the outer features adding extra volume. The one thing that I don’t like about the mug is that the head is warped around the area of the opening where the lid sits. This makes it so that the lid doesn’t seat and really barely fits period. It will sit on the head, but again doesn’t seat and bumping it will cause it to slide off. So for now, the lid is useless. If it didn’t have his ears attached, I might not even use it. But since it does, I’m going to try to find something to make a gasket and secure it better. Otherwise, it’s a cute little mug, and I plan to sit it in my office on a shelf or desk for display.
This little mug is so so cute. The packaging is very giftable. The mug itself is nice. It's very breakable so I am glad it was packaged well. I think the little lid, top of the capybara head, is not attached. I feel like this is going to get lost so fast but it makes the mug look cuter rather than having an open head like most animal mugs. The lid is small so the drinking surface area is small. The handle seems very thin for how large it is. I am so afraid this is going to get broke. But that would be user error. It really is a very cute and nice mug.
