I love this pan. It's non-stick without having a layer of some questionable material that may fail and flake off. It's excellent for stir frying, which is what I bought it for. It's also large enough to use as a soup/stew pot. Because of the non-stick surface, it's easy to clean. My only minor complaint is it is rather heavy for it's single handle.
I’ve been using this pan for a few weeks and I really really like it. I got tired of using ceramic and non-stick toxic coatings so this was a great alternative. It’s non-stick, good size for a family meal of 4 and easy to clean. Now I’m looking for smaller pans to replace everything else.
Quality and versatility. Can cook so much in a wok
The wok looks nice when you first get it, but isn't a carbon steel wok and has a thin nonstick coating which wears off after several uses. The pan is thin enough to stir fry and heat distribution is okay. But after the thin teflon coating wears off it starts to stick like crazy. I guess you get what you pay for!
My new favorite pan. Its great. So big. Perfect for healthy stirfrys. I like that the handle comes off so it fits better in the dishwasher. I only take a star off because its clearly not scratchproof, but I don't care about that. Im gonna buy the smaller size next. Im very happy. I love it. And it will motivate me to cook vegetables!
Easy cleaning. Light weight and good quality.
I purchased with intention to replace a 11" teflon wok. The 10.2" Umetre was huge in height and larger than my 11' work. The Umetre wok was too large to cook food for 2 people. I might have been sent the larger 11" Umetre. I also didn't like the curved side wok design vs. traditional wok design as it'll be harder to pour and serve food directly from wok to plate. I think the wok was well made for someone who likes the curved side wok design. It was nice wok came with lid. But it didn't meet my needs and I returned.
