I am reading these reviews on ppl just making all these comments on these foodgrade box's, now I am not the one to tell anybody what or how to do, but in perspective take a look at the set you have red it's for raw red meat, yellow for raw poultry, blue for seafood, green for plant matter, clear for cooked or food storage, me I have so many it allows me to store chocolate, they were made for food storage and yes the lids are priced separately usually the tops are sold in sets & the box is sold in sets if that is a deal breaker for U think about it this way, this box is the best around and if U need the lid buy it, cause like I said thee best, when I cater events trust when I say nothing can beat having grade A equipment especially when the party your working for sees how much effort I have poured into my buisness acumen.
