Coffee at the BBQ

Used this at a charity BBQ. Really great to own one of these finally. Renting one from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf runs about $70. When I found this out, I figured I would just buy one and make the coffee myself. Turned out really well. This will end up paying for itself several times over again. Easy to clean. Keeps the coffee very hot. Made the coffee at 6:30 a.m. and it was still hot at the last cup taken at 6:30 p.m. I will probably need at least two more. One for hot water and the other for Decaf.

Fits two 8 packs

Update: works nicely as a cooler too! Plus drain any water easily with spout. Even though it's just the 2.5 gallon, fit two 8 packs ice included!I talked to my friends and family about this product so much that everyone wants one, so I broke down and bought one for myself. 😂 I like the brown because it looks more natural and fits my aesthetic. Also, it's designed for commercial kitchens so I figured its something I can use long-term.Even the 2.5-gallon is heavy-duty. Cannot wait to take this to our pool and have iced tea for hours.I'll give an update on performance after I try it. So far, the seal seems next level (see video). The edges are rounded, so it should be a breeze to rinse out. I really need this in this heat, and I don't want to trudge back in and out of the house for refills.If all goes well, I'll probably buy one for my friends who often host big pool parties, and puddles end up in their kitchen from everyone coming in and out.

Perfect for events

This was perfect for our Halloween trick or treating event. It was super cold outside on Halloween of 23 in Michigan. It even snowed but this canister held lots of hot cider for tons of visitors. We ran out of cider after 2 hours and had to refill but after 2 hours the liquid was still hot. The only downfall I had was there is a slight dripple after a pour from the nozzle. I just put a hand towel under it and problem solved.

The lid leaks very badly.

I got this jug, used it for a day, when it accidentally tipped over in my SUV. I had a flood. The lid is not supposed to leak, but it did. This suggests horrible quality control. Additionally, we bought one called a 5 gallon jug, it is not until you read the small print that you learn it is about 2.5 or so gallons. That is just plain corrupt. Dishonesty and low quality, not something I want. We are returning it. Shameful.

Great for outdoor events

Works great. We preheat the containers with 180 degree water and let sit for 10 minutes. After pre-heating, we can remove water and fill with coffee or hot chocolate and it will stay warm for 4+ hours. Used at a football game to sell hot drinks and people commented how they loved getting hot drinks in the 4th quarter. Outside temperature was in the 40s.

I purposely bought it for having hot chocolate with family events. It kept the beverage hot for 4 hrs! It helped that I prewarmed the container first. I didn't have problems with "faucet" part as I've read in the reviews. It is a little heavy especially when it is filled but that's why the product works well. Love the handles for carrying the container!
