These are lightweight plastic trays. The are about 1/2 the size of a large cafeteria tray. Color is very nice and they are easy to clean.I was also pleasantly surprised that they are able to hold a lot of heavy paper stacks without loosing strength or their shape.Overall I do recommend them.
These trays are great. Color is nice, I bought blue, but there are numerous choices. I put my kitties dishes on the tray and carry them all at once to their feeding area. I use another to carry MY dinner to MY feeding area - in front of the TV! I'm sure I will come up with more uses. They have a nice sized lip, so if liquid spills, keeps it in check, and not on my lap or coffee table. I have used it as a laptop writing surface while sitting in my favorite recliner. Ooops! Once I placed a hot soup pot from the stove on one, and no warping. The trays wipe clean easily with a paper towel or sponge or I rinse them under the faucet. They are sturdy and I'm glad I bought them. Met my expectations and then some. And if it matters to you, they are made in the good old USA! And, 14" X 18" is the best size to carry your meal, typical cafeteria/fast food joint size.
This may sound funny, but my wife wanted these so that she can use for puzzle pieces when working jigsaw puzzles. They work great, and are large enough to do the job. Also use them for food trays. Very satisfied with these!
I wanted a tray for my aerogarden so that I could move and on & off my new chest freezer. I was looking for a more decorative one, but these showed up in my search. They were the right color (I got the forest/hunter green ones) and a great deal (lots of trays for the price of one fancier one). I am super pelase with my purchase. They are very sturdy, easy to clean, and now I have extra trays to use around the home (like when I want to carry my meals to in front of the TV or give folks something to eat on ... whenever we get out of quarantine)!
These are really nice trays, very solid, nothing flimsy about these trays. For the money, a very good value. I ordered the large 14" by 18". Great size, while sitting on my couch, I'll eat TV dinners, I'll do some writing, and do my arts & crafts projects, and some crocheting using one of these trays. Got the gray, a lovely light gray and a set of 12. I think one tray would make a lovely practical gift. I'm really impress with the sturdiness of these trays!
Size was actually a fraction smaller than 18 inches, which is the size I needed. While others round up to or down to 18 I don't need 17 & 1/2 won't fit properly in my cart. Being precise matters sometimes.The last order at half price got lost and they wouldn't make good. Delivered in 2 days from Carlisle's east coast location. New in a box good quality their red id actually red. Fits properly in an 18 inch wide tray cart
I HIGHLY recommend these trays for anyone who cooks on a blackstone or other flat top. It makes meal preps easy for outdoor use. I have multiples that I use for uncooked food and prep, as well as to put dirty cooking utensils on after cooking. It makes transport in and out of the house a breeze.
