Works with induction!
So far so good! I have an induction stove and these work great! They do make a buzzing noise that increases as you increase the heat as opposed to my quiet cast iron, but I read that it’s normal for stainless steel pans when using induction. They’re really solid and heavier than I expected for the price and clean up well. If there’s a tiny bit of food residue that clouds the bottom and won’t come off with dish soap, a powdered cleaner like barkeepers friend works perfect. This is not an issue with this product specifically, but just with stainless steel cookware as a whole.The flat lids really are gorgeous and I’ve never had any like them before. I guess you can’t load as much food in the pans since the lids aren’t domed, but I haven’t had an issue so far. The lids do hold some water around the inner part between the outside metal edge and the glass, but I doubt that will cause any long term issues as they do eventually air dry, but you just can’t get in there with a towel.One pot that I’ve used on really high heat has starting rainbowing or whatever you call it when it starts changing colors on the inside, but I know that just happens to every stainless steel on high heat. I don’t like babying my pots and pans so it’s the price I’m willing to pay to boil water faster.They stack small which is awesome since I live in a trailer, but even if we buy a house in the future I really see no reason to upgrade these. I feel that the 3 pots so close in size are a bit redundant, but hey maybe I’ll need to use them all at once sometime. Overall great value for the money.
