Nicely Designed Kitchen Tweezers
I was excited to order these. A lot of companies are making long chopsticks for kitchen use long tweezers like these. I like this trend. Tongs have their place, but for smaller jobs, items like this are all you need. These are cooler than the other similar products that I've seen because these have a wider area in the middle that you can use as a thumb rest and give more control. Good design.My only con for these is the metal used. It's metal, so it's strong, but because the 'arms' are long and slim, they buckle and bend more than they should. If the weight of the food you're picking up is too great, these tweezers will bend and you'll probably drop the food. Better or sturdier metal would remedy this. That would, of course, make these more expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. I think these are fine as well as you don't try to use these for anything that weighs more than a few ounces. Otherwise, just pull out the tongs.
