I was worried that the grip would get slick in use, but so far that hasn't been a problem. The tongs are long and sturdy and will provide a strong handle on anything from a chicken to a turkey. And the price can't be beat.
This 2 prong fork is well worth the money. The prongs are sturdy and long enough to hold any size meat securely when slicing. The handle is comfortable to hold.
I needed a larger, stronger carving fork as the one that came with my carving knife bends when trying to hold or lift and move a large roast. This fits the bill, and does not bend when confronted with a large holiday roast, ham or turkey. It does not match my flatware, but the black will "fit in" with many carving knives, and as I don't generally carve at the table, that doesn't matter to me. The handle is smooth and provides a good grip, and is made from synthetic material so it can be popped in the dishwasher. The tines are nicely polished, not rough and unfinished as some of the competing forks. This works!
Good quality
I love to cook and this fork is great for lifting turkeys, chickens, beef, all meats. It also holds the roast securely for carving. I know Christmas is in two days but it you need a gift for someone who has everything and likes to cook, but it! You will be a hero.
Works well on large cuts of meat
Well made, heavy and strong much like the professional fork used in restaurants however the handle is about two inches short to lift the heavier items.
