Great case for the price!

For $54.95 this is a great case, the foam is not the “pluck” type that comes standard on Apache or Pelican cases it is dense closed cell foam; the plastic case isn’t built like Fort Knox but it is nice and appears well made. The Nalpak or Guard Dog inserts are better, but cost $$$ so much more; if you collect $500, $1000 knives this is probably not the case for you. I almost went with a Nalpak knife insert and a Harbor Freight Apache 3800 case….after shipping and tax would have been more than $170.00! A Pelican 1450 case would have been $214.00 plus tax and shipping bringing the total to more than $250.00……..and only hold 40 knives. Nanuk cases have Guard Dog inserts and a hold 40 knives also, they run $179.95 plus tax and free shipping for orders over $150.00. If you have very long or wide blade knives those other cases will fit those knives better. I only have a couple of wide knives and I just cut the foam out accordingly (see photo). I placed almost all of my knives flat and I didn’t have any issues with my knives falling out of the case upon opening. For small knives I cut the discarded foam pieces to size so there aren’t a lot of little pieces stacked together. As I said earlier this is a great case for the price!

Great Case for Your Folding Knives, Worth Every Penny!

What I've Tried:I've been buying ZT carrying bags like the "Kershaw Zero Tolerance ZT997 Knife Bag Carrier" sold at Amazon. Honestly, they work but the knife pocket clips just bang into each other when closing the bag, which cause scratches on each other. On top of that, the middle section is not fit for average or larger than average knives. I've also looked for separate hard cases in general and pluck foam. The total cost I keep ending up with is about the same or more as this Case club carrying case. Why Case Club's Case is Better:Case Club has already done the hard work and precut their foam to make it modular. It was well thought out on how to fit 60 knives in this case. As their video describes, you can reuse the foam that you plucked out to make a more custom fit for smaller than average knives. The foam that they use is way better than the typical pluck foam. I don't think you can find something that's a hard case, that's designed to fit 60 knives, that comes with precut foam, and that's sold lower than this price point. This Case Club case is totally worth it!

Perfect Storage Solution!

I’m really excited about this case! I’ve been looking for a new storage solution as my knife collection expands while presenting them in a manner for easy identification.Solid case, sturdy foam to protect knives, easy to conform to knife size. Seems to be a very good quality product! Now I need to acquire more knives to test the case’s capacity!

Horizontal Storage Is The Best

First let’s dispel some of what has been said. Yes you can resize a slot. Just put the plucked piece back in. I’ve done it a few times. Someone said “knives fall out”. Well yah, if you open it vertically, duh. Who would do that. It’s meant to be opened horizontally, you know like a suit case. The foam is far superior to regular pluck foam. The cushion between layers is good for most pocket knives. The length of the slots is good. I only had to customize a slot for a folding hunter and done carefully it is not a problem. The case is sturdy with strong latches. If you are looking for a case for fixed blades this is not for you unless you plan to alter the foam beyond the precut section. Even then I wouldn’t recommend it for most fixed blades. Horizontally storage is the way to got unless you like endlessly pulling knives out of drop holes looking for your knife. Each layer removes easily because the foam is sturdy enough to take the weight without fear of tearing or severe deformation.

Ok for the $$$

This case is decent for the price. There foam trays could be sturdier. When you load them up and then try to take them out to get to the next layer, they do tend to bend in the middle. So be sure to support them with a hand under the tray. I could see the foam eventually cracking down the middle from the weight of a full tray of knives.

Super cost effective! USA made knife case

Twice as nice for half the price!!! USA made 60 knife case. Similar to the well known “Pelican” cases. That may or may not be true but coming in @ $60 for a USA made 60 knife case is found nowhere else. Easy to remove, precut foam with smaller pieces to remove for larger knives and then use the smaller pieces to fill in space for smaller knives. This is my 2nd one and I’m already contemplating another!
