Love my new cast iron pan!
Good quality cast iron griddle pan. Even though it says preseasoned, I seasoned it to my liking first. It is much bigger and thicker than my old pan, which had been passed to me from a friend. It wasn't a family heirloom; she just didn't want it anymore. This one retains heat more evenly than my old pan. It makes cooking food on it better and easier. No scorched or undercooked areas. The thick iron gives a browned, crispy texture to meats that can't be matched by nonstick cookware. Plus those grill marks from the pan seem to infuse an extra oomph into foods in general. I am in love with this new pan. It works extremely well and is a great value for the price. Cheap cookware doesn't compare.

Cast iron
This might be just a personal pet peeve, but the item arrived in not one, not two, but three separate boxes. None of them had any identification of what was inside, and considering this is a cast iron grill pan, it wasn’t like it needed all that extra padding. To me, that felt wasteful and a bit annoying. Now, onto the actual product: the size is about what you would expect if you’re familiar with cast iron pans. If not, I’d describe it as roughly the size of both of my hands. It feels heavy-duty and of good quality. I accidentally dropped it a couple of times, and it did not dent. It is quite heavy, as cast iron should be.I haven’t tested it with cooking yet, but I see no reason why it wouldn’t work perfectly.

dimension are inside cooking dimensions not the size of the pan
advertised as a 10 inch pan, but that is the inside dimension, will not fit in a 12 inch oven, actually measures 11 1/8 by 13 inches

A little thin, lighter weight.
This cast iron stovetop grill is a typical cast iron pan. It has a bit of a rough texture which is hard on my cloth when wiping with oil to season. However, it should smooth out over time with use. There are a few areas where the iron could have been ground a bit smoother for finishing. It is a bit thinner than my other cast iron skillets which makes it a bit lighter in weight as well. That is good for anyone who may have issues lifting heavy pans. I haven’t used it yet but I don’t anticipate that it will be different than any other cast iron skillet. I will provide an update once I use it. One note: In the description video the skillet is seen in a dishwasher. Please, do not use cast iron in a dishwasher because it will surely rust very badly.

Solid Grill Pan with Smart Features - but Watch the Finish
This grill pan has a lot of potential. It’s heavy, which I expected and appreciate - it feels solid and capable of holding heat well. The handles on both sides are a nice touch and make it easier to move around, especially when it’s hot or full of food. I also really appreciate the pour spouts on the sides. They’re shaped well and seem genuinely useful for draining grease or broth without making a mess. The raised ridges inside are deep and cleanly cast, which should give meats those nice grill marks and help fat drain away. That part looks well done. But the surface itself has some small holes and pockmarks that I noticed right away. They’re not huge, but they’re there, and they make me a little nervous about long-term durability - whether food will get stuck or if those spots will rust over time. The texture overall feels rougher than I expected, not quite as refined as other cast iron I’ve used. There’s also a faint odor coming off it - kind of metallic or chemical. I’m hoping it fades after a good wash and seasoning, but it’s noticeable. For the price, it feels like a decent value - but I’d say it’s best for someone who’s comfortable doing a little extra seasoning and maintenance up front.

Decent pan for meats
I like this skillet--it isn't too heavy nor too big (either width or depth). It's just right for your typical New York steak, salmon filet for 3-4 people, or for several strips of bacon. It arrives unseasoned, and I plan on smoothing out the bottom with either sandpaper or diamond abrasive disks so it's less likely to scratch my cooktop. With that said, the bottom is completely flat, so it will make full contact and work great with an induction cooktop. This isn't high end machined cast iron, but it seems on par with your standard department store grade cast iron. I would recommend this pan.

I love this pan!
This cast iron grill pan is exactly what I needed to bring that outdoor barbecue flavor inside! The 10-inch size is perfect for everyday use — big enough for a couple of steaks or chicken breasts, but not too heavy to handle. The double handles make it easy to use, and the grill ridges sear beautifully without sticking, leaving those perfect char lines every time.It heats evenly, retains temperature well, and gives meats that rich, smoky flavor you usually only get from a real grill. I’ve used it for steaks, veggies, and even paninis — everything cooks perfectly. Cleanup is simple once you know how to care for cast iron, and the quality feels like it’ll last forever.Highly recommend this pan for anyone who loves that grilled taste but wants the convenience of indoor cooking!
