After weeks of looking this is the ONLY quality jar that I could find and so glad I did! It holds my new 12# bag of bread flour perfectly. No bugs can get into this beauty with the perfect seal. I folded a knited dishtowel and my Mother can slide it out to use it w/o straining or scratching the countertop.👌
We are very happy with this item. It's shipping package is very secure and protected by form-fitting styrofoam. We use this to store various types of individually sealed snack cakes and it is perfect for this particular use. The lid fits very securely and requires careful application of strength to remove it. time may make the lids fit less tight... we'll have to wait and see. Quality item.

The glass is very thick & made to last…a bit pricy, but worth it in my book. This will be used for years to come.
This cookie jar is beautiful and works well. I am not fond of the seam in the middle of the top, but it seals beautifully.
The jar was amazing, but I did not receive the lid.Amazon claims that the package was delivered per the instructions; however, they gave the package to a person outside of the school office. They never entered the office and handed the package to the front office staff per the delivery instructions.
I love this product. I use it in my kitchen for my flour and sugar.
