This is sure to get some comments as it’s passed around the dinner table

This loaf of bread is painted just right to look like the real thing. The product page pictures have the colors right but the detail is poor. In person it is a sunrise yellow with its lightly toasted brown top crust fading gently into yellow.The loaf is thick with the heaviness expected from ceramic of its nature. It fits comfortably into its dish. The base of the loaf, where it comes in contact with its plate, has a white coating that feels different from the rest. I can only guess that it serves in some way to protect both parts from wear.It’s large for a regular stick of butter so I’ve decided to only use it when I have guests; I’ll purchase a premium butter loaf that has the size to fill it. That’ll get the old stuffed shirts’ tongues wagging.

I absolutely adore this chunky novelty bread shaped butter keeper! The size is perfect for 1-4 sticks of butter, or for putting an 8 ounce block of softened cream cheese on the breakfast table for bagels & pumpkin bread too. This loaf shaped butter keeper has good weight to it, and it’s extremely well made. It’s coated with generous layer of kiln fired glaze, with no thin spots, bubbles or blemishes. My husband ran it through the top rack of the dishwasher cycle without issue, other than me fussing at him for putting my beautiful new butter keeper in the harsh dishwasher! Thankfully it feels as sturdy as stoneware, and survived without sustaining chips or “flea bites” from cups & dishes stacked around it.This Howise butter keeper is priced very fairly for the quality & cute factor. It’s a 5 star item, for sure! Recommended.

Where's the butter?

The butter is on the counter in "the bread", the ceramic loaf that is!!! Such a tongue 'n cheek way of storing butter to keep it soft and spreadable for it favorite partner, Bread. Well made ceramic dish and lid. Large enough for two sticks of butter, if you like to keep some extra ready for baking. The design is so fun and it looks great on my counter. Good value. Great size, when most are smaller only holding one stick. The dish can easily accommodate European butter sticks that are almost twice as wide as our standard butter sticks. I love this bread-butter dish and you will too. A nice gift , especially from a baker who always needs room temp soft butter on hand.

I knew the description said big, but I wasn't expecting how big. It's the same size as four regular sticks of butter. But when you stack four, the lid doesn't perfectly shut. It floats ever so slightly. But it's perfect for two regular sticks of butter.✅ FUNCTIONALITY / COMPATIBILITY : Functionality? Sure. It will hold your butter and it will look CUTE. But not great for storage because obviously you can't stack something on top. BUT! It fits in our diary cabinet great! Room on top and room on the side.
