This crock is great for anyone who loves butter to stay out 24/7. You fill it with a quarter of water and the butter stays nice and soft. My husband started a month ago leaving a stick of butter in a bowl out on the kitchen counter and this crock has saved my sanity.
I didn't know about a butter crock to keep the butter. My friend had one so I went to amazon and I am very happy with my purchase.

I love cooking and have all the "cool" gadgets but for some reason I have never had a butter crock. I saw this one pop up in my feed and decided to give it a try. The crock arrived well packaged to prevent damage. The design on the crock is beautiful, great for any country themed kitchen! I do wish there were different color options since blue would have looked better in my kitchen but that's just cosmetic preferences and not a big deal. The ceramic is very nicely painted and has a glossy seal to prevent damage to the design. I love the idea of a butter crok, nothing is worse than trying to spread cold butter on toast! I am happy to report that this cro functions exactly how I expected. The butter stays spreadble and soft but most importantly this provides an airtight seal once you add the water to keep the food safe to eat. It's super easy to use, simply put some button in the top part, add water to the bottom and that's it! The crock holds at least one stick of butter, maybe 1 1/2, so it's a good amount and you don't have to refill frequently. It's functional and looks cute in my kitchen, can't really ask for much more!
