Perfectly made. Not heavy but not to light. Keeps the coffee hot for a very long time. So very cute. I wish they sold a set because I’d get it. Handle may be a little small for people with bigger hands but it fits perfectly in mine.

I love the shape and color. It feels like a handmade. And it is very convenient to keep it next to the bed and drink from it.
This is quite weighty for my expectations of porcelain, so I wouldn't give this to someone with any grip or hand strength issues. I was going to gift this to someone elderly but decided not to. It's like standard stoneware (but is translucent with a flashlight, so it's porcelain). It does pass the microwave-safe test with flying colors: 1100 watt, water heated 1 minute on high, handle and lid were barely warmer than room temperature. Do not use the crackle glaze version in the microwave, though.
Bought two. One for me, soft teal, and the “Crackled” green for my brother as a gift. Size is 8oz, maybe 9, not more. I think we’ve become so used to large, that when perfect sits in front of us, sometimes we must adjust our sense of perspective. The design is exquisite and enchanting. A little like a Buddha belly with a lotus lid. The lid allows the tea to steep for those 5 minutes in an enclosed space. Teacups used to be 6-8 oz. That’s why our coffee pots say 12c. We certainly can’t get twelve 16oz servings.I make tea every night with my favorite Chamomile & Sleepytime. In the afternoon sometimes I have Earl Grey. During these difficult days of sad, and sometimes tragic daily news, it’s a small thing but teatime in this delightful “Buddha Belly” cup gives me a sense of peace.
Beautiful glaze, thin ceramic (very hard to pull of from a technical standpoint), extremely fine edge glazing, stunning olive color. Could not be happier.
Shape keeps my tea hot longer with the lid being just right with the little knob. The feel of the glaze and crackle makes every cup just feel special. I broke my first one of these and spend days trying to find any other mug that might replace it.. but nothing came close to this one.. So I ordered it again.. :-D
