This pan arrived carefully packaged to protect every component, including the lid, pan, and handle. The frying pan is packed inside a cloth bag with an elastic band around the lid for added protection. The Stackbear 5.5 quart frying pan excels in performance, with its Swiss DualGuard coating, cooking is effortless, and cleanup is quick. The tri-ply stainless steel base (18/10 steel core + aluminum interlayer) provides consistent results, making it a reliable choice. I appreciate the cool-touch silicone handle which stays cooler than metal handles. The Stackbear 5.5-quart frying pan is a valuable addition to any kitchen. Its combination of advanced materials, thoughtful design, and excellent performance makes it a standout product. Whether you are cooking everyday meals or preparing gourmet dishes, this frying pan delivers outstanding results. I recommend this pan for those seeking quality and durability in their cookware.Be sure to follow the provided directions to prepare the skillet for first-time use, ensuring that it maintains its nonstick properties and longevity. Unfortunately, as with most instruction pamphlets, the print is teeny, making it difficult to read. This pan is not dishwasher safe, but its ease of cleaning eliminates the need to place it in a dishwasher. I have learned that the intense heat and water pressure used in dishwashers can not only scratch, damage, or chip enamel coatings, but also the non-stick coatings of pans. I use a dishcloth, and if there is some stubborn cooking material, I use a melamine sponge
