Good for people who don't know what a great knife is.

I am giving these knives a 5 star review because they are affordable, look great, and are very comfortable to handle. On the negative side - they are not very sharp as knives go. If you have like most people spent all of you're life using dull knives, then these knives will appear to be quite sharp. They can be made sharp by using a diamond sharpening stone. However good quality diamond stones are pretty expensive and take a fair amount of skill to use correctly. These knives can barely slice through a cheap piece of 20 lb. copy paper. These knives are more of a novelty than anything else and can't do anything more than a steel blade knife can do.

Knives, great! Peeler, Not So Much.

Love the knives! These things cut so easily. It made cutting up fruits and vegetables so much easier. Unfortunately, the peeler cracked after the first use. It might have been when I tried peeling a mango. It wouldn’t cut through that skin, at least not easily. Worked great for peeling a cucumber, though. Oh, and one more thing: the peeler is definitely made for right handed people. Keep that in mind if you’re a left hander like me.
