It inspired me to cook...really!
When I saw this wok I was just starting to think about cooking. I couldn't believe how simply elegant it looked, a factor that definitely added to my resolve. After over a year of daily use, my findings are as follows.Pluses: 1. It is super easy to clean, usually wipes clean with a sponge towel or loofa. I do this repeatedly as I like to use the same wok to stirfry 2-3 dishes per meal. 2. It heats up quite evenly and quickly and reaches what seems to be quite high temperatures. 3. Its wooden handle is super comfortable to hold compared to my other woks or pans. 4. Its octagonal shape makes pouring out the content a very easy and controllable affair (quite important and often under-appreciated). 5. Its beige color makes cooking that much more intuitive and pleasant. The food looks great in it. Seasoning, especially sauces in the wok is very clearly visible, making judging quantity or doneness a breeze. Again, this is super important especially if you cook Chinese food. If you do, I would make this feature the number one PLUS factor. 6. The rubber spatula it comes with is of great quality and is my go-to tool for deglazing my pans. It looks new after one year of daily use. 7. Perfect size. For stirfrying I do not recommend any smaller wok. This one has the most useful and flexible size both in terms of the size of the bottom flat portion and the size of its diameter and depth. You do not want a wok to be any smaller if you intend to make stirfry rice for 4+ people. Many Chinese-style soups or stews start with stirfrying and finish by adding water/broth, and this wok is PERFECT for that, helped by its very stylish matching lid with a wooden knob that won't burn your fingers.Now the Minutes: 1. It's a bit heavy for a non-stick wok and takes some strength to handle with one hand, especially to perform the flip. 2. Although it is "dishwasher safe", my first one got its bottom coating scratched while in the washer, probably while resting on the metal crate upside down. So it's best to avoid the unknown and hand wash it. 3. The matching glass lid does not seal as tightly as typical metal pots so slow cooking is not ideal in this wok as the water will reduce rather quickly.All in all, this is the most stylish wok I've seen and works like a charm. I just bought a second one and would strongly recommend it to anyone interested in Chinese-style cooking. Although the non-stick coating is quite thick and durable (hence the weight), I recommend washing the wok with sprung or loofa.

Fantastic and beautiful modern wok
Before ordering this wok, I had a nice looking carbon steel pan, but after long periods of cleaning and seasoning, I just got sick of it. I noticed the quality of this pan and how beautiful it was, so I decided to order it as a replacement - and it looked just as the pictures did! The only thing I had reservations about was the lid, which didnt fit as snug as others I've used.Giving the pan a shot, I was very happy to find that it really is nonstick, and I don't have to worry about letting it get pretty hot, it was able to handle a good amount of heat! It cleaned up quicker than any other pan I've had as well, so I really would say this was a well-worth investment.

Not long lasting
This wok is not bad. The octagonal shape makes it easy to pour food into the plate (or bowl), and the light color makes the kitchen look great. Not surprisingly, the nonstick coating does't last long. It begins to wear off after three months, and I basically had to replace it after a year. I use this wok twice a day on average. Considering the price, the life span is pretty reasonable. If you are concerned about reducing carbon emission, maybe it's better to select a higher end product that lasts longer. Otherwise, I recommend this wok.

Love this pan!
I ordered this pan on a recommendation from a couple of folks at my hair salon who had it.What a good choice! I love It. I love the depth for doing stir-fry or combining many ingredients for a casserole, ect. AND has a top! Very sturdy but not too heavy, and the non-stick surface is a breeze to clean! It even comes with a screwdriver to put on the handle and a nice wooden spatula for stirring. Would make a great gift for anyone who loves to cook!
