Easy to clean non stick pot
I wanted to upgrade my pots and I found this one. I like the size of it. This is a 4 quart pot. The last one I had was 3. One quart makes a difference. It is easy to install the handle, I washed it before the first use and I decided to make fried rice. It is non stick, it comes with a lid and pour spouts on both sides. The lid does not fully cover the spouts like my last lid. It is not a big issue . The vapor escapes a bit quicker. I usually monitor my food and I add a bit more water during the cooking process. Over all, I've used it for rice and soups. It's a good pot.

Exceptional Cooking Experience and Easy Clean-up
I recently received this 4-Quart Non-Stick BAKOIION Aluminum Saucepan and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance in my kitchen. For anyone looking for a reliable, everyday pan for simmering, sauteing, or preparing family-sized side dishes, this pan is an excellent choice.A few of notes:The handle is not attached to the saucepan when you receive it. You will need a Phillips screwdriver (see photo) to attach the handle with the provided screw.The description mentions that this has a Bakelite handle. The handle is actually wooden. The knob on the lid appears to be Bakelite.Also included are instructions for seasoning the saucepan. I personally don’t ever recall the need to season a saucepan, unless it was made of cast-iron. However, I did follow the instructions just to be safe and hopefully extend the life of the pan.Performance & Non-Stick Coating:The most critical feature of any non-stick cookware is, of course, the coating, and the ceramic surface of this pan lives up to its promise.• Release: Food slides out with minimal effort, even without excessive oil or butter. I've used it and cleanup has been remarkably easy. There's no scraping or soaking required.• Heat Distribution: The core material is Aluminum, which is a fantastic heat conductor. I've found that the pan heats up quickly and, more importantly, distributes the heat evenly across the entire cooking surface. This eliminates hot spots and ensures consistent results, preventing burning in the center while the edges are undercooked.• Versatility: This pan can be used on ANY type of range, including gas, standard electric, ceramic or induction cooktops.Build Quality & Design:The pan has a sturdy, yet lightweight feel to it. The sleek black with white speckles finish gives it a professional look.• Capacity & Size: The 4-Quart capacity is perfect for my needs. It's deep enough (around 4"H – see photo) to handle larger quantities of pasta or chili, but not so large that it's cumbersome to store. The dimensions are very manageable.• Pan: There is a small “assist” handle opposite the main handle and a convenient pour spout (see photo) on each side of the pan.• Handle: The handle stays cool on the stovetop, which is a big safety plus. It also has a convenient hole for hanging the pan on a hook, if desired.• Lid: the lid is clear glass and has a vent hole, both are big plusses!• Material: While the aluminum construction is excellent for heat, it's worth noting the key limitation: It is NOT Oven Safe. This is important to remember if your recipe involves searing on the stovetop and finishing in the oven. For stovetop-only tasks, however, it's brilliant.Cleaning & Durability:Cleaning is arguably the best part. Because of the quality non-stick finish, a quick wipe with a soft sponge and warm soapy water is all it takes. In addition, the pan is dishwasher safe, although I am disinclined to subject the wooden handle to the rigors of the dishwasher cycle.Overall Verdict:The BAKOIION 4-Quart Non-Stick Aluminum Saucepan is a high-quality, high-value piece of cookware. Light weight and well crafted
As an ex-chef of 15 years (now retired) I want good cookware in my home. My main set of pots and pans were an "investment", if you know what I mean. ($$$) So, when this Bakoniion Ceramic Nonstick Saucepan arrived I was anxious to see if it could cook.I was first impressed with the care that was taken to protect this baby in transit (see picture). The box was solid and each piece was protected from touching any other piece. And, assembling the pot was a matter of screwing in one screw (you will need your own phillips head screwdriver). The lid came fully assembled.After a quick wash (the pot literally dried itself--the water just ran off the surface) it was time to season. Seasoning the pot was exactly the same as with my expensive cookware and took less than 5 minutes (there are instructions included). As I poured the oil into the pot I checked to see how it would run from center. (Trust me, my flat-top is level.) The oil did move slowly to the sides of the pot which means there is a very (very) slight crown in the center.Bringing 3 quarts of water to a boil using cold tap water was remarkably fast. Medium heat will keep a rolling boil going. On my range's lowest setting (surprisingly called Low), the water still gently bubbled. And, it was bubbling evenly across the entire pot! This setting was perfect for hardboiling eggs (which I did-- for12 minutes). Just one notch up was perfect for simmering my spaghetti sauce. Because the heat was so evenly distributed, stirring was necessary only occasionally, and still the sauce didn't stick.I tried pouring oil (first), and then water out of the pot using the side spouts. You need to pour slowly when the pot is full, but it does create a very controllable stream. After the pot is about a third full, you can pour more quickly and still have a manageable stream. And, I never experienced even one drip going down the side of the pot. (Okay, one, but that was really my fault).I like the weight of the pot (it is light) and I like that the handle has a very secure feeling in the hand and that it doesn't get hot. So, since my expensive cookware set didn't come with a 4 Qt pot, and since this pot has demonstrated that it can keep up with that set, I'm going to be using this as a part of my regular cooking.
