We're trying to avoid non-stick bakeware due to the chemicals, so we love that this is ceramic. It is beautifully made and attractive with its butter yellow color and ruffled edges. It has a bit of a vintage feel. The edges are *nearly* straight up and down; they are less angled than most pie pans. Not a problem, though. Overall, it's lovely to look at and bake with. It would make a great gift as well.
