Fits my aesthetic perfectly, and keeps my salt dry
I've been hunting for a salt storage bowl that I can use one handed for months now and have even returned one that I bought at a local store and regifted another that I didn't like either but this salt storage bowl is totally a keeper! I LOVE it! I bake bread every other day for ourselves and our neighbor and I often have my 10mo baby on my hip while starting my dough so being able to use this salt bowl one handed is a blessing for me. Before hand I was just using an old mason jar but I would have to set the baby down to even open it, not anymore with this bowl and an added major bonus is how it matches my aesthetic perfectly and blends in beautifully with my kitchen style. I measured the little wooden spoon it comes with and it's nearly dead on to 1 teaspoon measurement so that makes it even easier for me to measure out the salt needed for my bread dough. I keep mine up on my top shelf away from the kids because I do not want it broken or dirty with their little fingers digging into it or taking the wood spoon to use in their play kitchen and it looks so cute sitting there next to my kitchen plants. I highly recommend this perfectly cute and very functional salt storage bowl.

Very useful!
I’m really enjoying using this salt cellar. I needed something to keep my kosher salt in, as I was getting tired of pulling that giant box down from the pantry, pouring into my hand, and sprinkling from there. LOL. This fits beautifully into the vignette on my kitchen island, and it’s super convenient to just grab a pinch of salt when I need it. The ceramic jar is beautiful, and the matte beige with speckled finish is modern and elegant. The lid also matches the other wood grains I have in my decor.The only thing I would critique is the fit of the lid. It is a little loose and doesn’t fit snugly. You have to line it up just right, or the lid looks crooked. That’s just a mild annoyance, though. Overall it’s beautiful and functional, and solved a problem in my kitchen!

Perfect Ceramic Jar for Everyday Use
The ceramic jar is made thick and sturdy, not that flimsy thin type you sometimes get. The grainy speckled design gives such an elegant touch to the kitchen, looks really classy on the counter. It’s very useful too — I love the wooden spoon, and the wooden top is also nicely made, thick and smooth finished. The size is big enough to store almost anything from spices to nuts and more. Honestly loved it, and for the price it’s the best thing you can get.

This salt cellar is okay and does what it’s meant to do. It’s ceramic, holds a good amount of salt, and the included little wooden spoon is a nice touch and convenient to use. Size-wise, it works well on the counter without taking up much space.That said, there are a couple of things I don’t love. The speckled ceramic finish isn’t really my preference—the speckles almost read as pepper or dust, and I think a plain white finish would have looked much cleaner and more polished. The bigger issue for me is the lid. While it’s designed to sit inside the dish, it’s cut a bit too small, so it can slide around instead of fitting snugly and securely.Overall, for an inexpensive salt cellar, it’s fine and functional. I really like this container. It’s a nice size overall. I would like it if it was one of those swivel type of lids but overall, I really like it. It looks really nice and I like that. It comes with a little spoon as well.

Good sized ceramic salt container
I was really excited to finally have a decent salt container for my Kosher salt.This item arrived in perfect condition as it was packaged well in styrofoam to prevent damage.This container holds up to 8 oz and is cut with a slot for the wooden spoon provided. The container is wide enough for me to easily reach in and grab a good pinch of salt to sprinkle on my food/dishes.My only complaint is that the inside of the lid was cut too much making the cover rather 'floppy' as it sits on the container. I would have like a better, snugger fit for the cover.

Beautiful Ceramic, Ease of access to your favorite spice!
Perfect size ceramic salt container! I keep coarse salt on my counter regularly, and this beautiful white container works excellently, comes with a wooden spoon you can use, and a protective lid.
