Exactly What I Needed
I have two sponges by my kitchen sink. I’ve tried leaning them up against the brush caddy, but they end up getting knocked around. My eraser-type sponge kept getting knocked flat and turned brown without me even using it… yuck. Thus I went looking for a sponge holder.First I got one that promised to be ceramic but wasn’t, and was way too fragile. I tried my luck with this one, and it is as described - ceramic, with thick enough walls that it’s pretty much as sturdy as ceramic gets. It will be very easy to clean - there aren’t really any nooks & crannies to hide gunk, and of course, it’s dishwasher safe.The fact that it holds sponges vertically, with minimal contact points, means I’m going to be able to use my sponges for longer before they have to go in the trash. I’m very happy with this one.

Keeps my kitchen tidy!
This little ceramic sponge holder is a great addition to my kitchen. I am trying to reduce plastic in my kitchen and recently switched to the same little wooden scrubber as in the listing photos. This ceramic dish allows me to keep the area around my sink nice and tidy! It's a bright white color and looks nice on my white counter tops. It has a nice weight to it and feels good quality. I have a wooden scraper in there instead of a sponge and it also fits nicely. It collects a little water/dirt after a while so I occasionally need to rinse it out.

It is sturdy enough to keep it by the sink. It’s nice to be able to keep the sponge off the bottom. If you use a thicker sponge, it won’t fit but if you are using a generic American sponges sold at stores, this shouldn’t be an issue.Overall, I’m happy with this. If you intend to use it as described in the picture, this will do it well.

Solid, attractive, well made sponge holder
This is a well made, attractive sponge holder. I use for my more obscure sponges, Iike a granite countertop sponge, a knit scrubbie, etc. I wish it fit my Scrub Mommy, and was a bit larger overall, but I have a weird number of sponges and scrub tools. But I like the color, which blends in well with my kitchen, and it’s well crafted, with a nice simple design.
