The tray and sponge holder I use to have at my kitchen sink was looking pretty spent so this ceramic dish caught my eye as a nice upgrade. I went from a flimsy plastic dish to most recently a stainless steel version and in both cases I disliked how they very quickly got caked with gunk or discolored and rusty. I’ve had this dish for a while now and it is much easier to maintain and keep looking like new. More importantly, it keeps sponges up and away from water so they dry quickly.There’s not much to describe functionally. It is a ceramic holder with two vertical slots so the inserted sponge stays up and out of water. It looks cool and rinsing it off every week or two is all you have to do to get rid of accumulated soap and quickly bring it back to its new look.
