Bench knife cuts easy, nice to handle and great packaging!
After I saw all the reviews I decided to try out a new kitchen tool for myself and I was not disappointed. I love getting new gadgets and this Cestari bench knife did not disappoint. I found it to be an ideal kitchen tool for slicing that gets the job done easily and efficiently. The measurements are etched into the blade so you can measure both length and thickness of dough and pastry. On the top is a large, ergonomic style handle that makes it easy to hold. The blade is concise and sharp for chopping anything from veggies to dough. The large flat surface makes it easy to scoop up chopped items. I found it very easy to clean and the packaging was very nice. So nice that I will be giving these as Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers to all my amateur chef friends. Did not disappoint! Worth the money
Wow, this did not disappoint. In choosing this one, I ended up spending more money on a bench knife than I'd planned, for a combination of reasons. 1) the measurements not only across bottom, but up the side (and etched in), extremely helpful, 2) the larger bevel on the bottom than others, and 3) the reviews. What a pleasure to work with. Nice weight to it (btw it is heavier than others I've known, but this is a plus for me, maybe not for you). It's clearly not a piece of junk and actually feels special to hold. Love the box it comes in too, with magnetic closure. I really appreciate quality tools in anything I do, but our budget keeps me from everything I want. ;) Glad I splurged on this. I expect to have it for many years to come.

Feel like a pro with this scraper even if you have no idea what you're really doing!
After taking a sausage making class where the instructor waxed on about his bench knife being the most versatile instrument he had and he just loved it SO MUCH, I wanted one, too. I don't even really cook often (yet), but I do like owning things. I grabbed this scraper because the measurements ran vertically, as well, rather than just across the bottom, and the reviews sounded promising.It arrived in a sturdy box nestled in a velveteen inlay looking rather elegant, so much that I momentarily debated keeping the packaging as its continued home when not in use. The measurements are accurate and it works well for both cutting and scraping with a handle that is comfortable to hold. So far with a month of use, it has been a fabulous purchase. The company also seems way up on their customer service, contacting me before it had even arrived to inquire why I'd selected their product and to assure me that if anything about the transaction wasn't worthy of five stars to contact them and they'd do their best. I didn't respond, but I am leaving a loving review -- this scraper and the experience as a whole definitely warranted it!

Love This Bench Knife!
Just purchased this stainless steel bench knife for my wife--hoping she'll use it to cut dough for more homemade pies but upon opening it we see it has many uses. It's a very sturdy professional quality sharp knife with a thick rubber handle so it's easy on the hands--even when you're chopping things like nuts or apples. And it can be used as a scrapper to gather all the scraps of dough or veggies/nuts after you've chopped them. We have Cutco knives and I can honestly say this is just as good--at a fraction of the price.
