The first picture is impossible

I get that proper product photography can be expensive, but in my book bad photoshop looks just as cheap as poor quality photos. As a former pro photographer, I can assure you that the current generation of cell phones are more than up to the task of taking decent product shots. Just do that if you don't want to hire a pro. I'm saying this because I don't like that I had a pretty good idea how big this product was despite the photos, not because of them, so these product shots that show a 5oz baby bottle bigger than a cooked chicken or a pepperoni pizza? Not only are the 6 items photoshopped into this product shot not physically possible at that size, they likely could not exist on the same warming mat unless it were the size of my dining room table.I feel like product representation is poignant. That aside, the product works as expected, and is priced right. Please sell a bunch of these so you can put a little cash into proper photos. You don't have to lie to sell this product.My rating system breakdown:1 Star = Safety hazard, gross misrepresentation of product, or flat out doesn't work2 Stars = Needs improvement3 Stars = Meh, likely wouldn't buy again.4 Stars = Meets expectations5 Stars = Exceeds expectations

Heats up quickly

This is quite easy to use - unroll, plug in (make sure the power cord is in all the way - it was hard to get in all the way on mine), and press the power button. Once it's on you press the thermometer icon to select your temperature, and after a few seconds it then starts heating (showing the current temp of the mat as it goes). You can select the timer length by pressing the clock icon (it shows in 60 min increments from 1-4hr I believe). The other button is a lock (press to lock and long-press to unlock), so people can't mess it up by bumping it or kids playing with it or such.This heats up very quickly - within a few seconds it'd already gone up 10-15 degrees. It seems to have increments in 10C (18F) from about 140F (60C) up to 212F (100C). This is too hot for things like proofing bread or yogurt or such, but is good for keeping dishes warm.This is quite large too - easily enough for a full meal or several dishes for a potluck or such (I believe it could even do a couple of the large foil catering trays).Since it's solid silicon on the outside it is easy to clean - just wipe with a washcloth (and water splashes and such shouldn't damage it, though I'd still try to avoid them around the control area).This rolls up with the top as the "outside" and the poky underside as the "inside" - and you may need to try rolling it a few times to get it to fit in the included storage bag (I was leering of rolling it that tightly lest I damage the internal wires, but it seems to have worked well anyhow).All in all this is a very nice mat for most uses - other than those mentioned above. It will keep things warm, no risk of fire like the alcohol candles, is fast to put out and take down, and gives a lot of control of the temperatures you use.Do be careful about what surfaces you put it on. It can "only" go up to 212F but that could cause issues with wood finishes (though plastics and stones should be fine). If you're worried then try a lower temperature or use some kind of insulation (a towel or cardboard piece or such).

Fancier way to warm food

This is a fancier way to present and warm your food in any gatherings. You I can use to warm meals in half or whole trays during parties or special occasions or warm your family meals in plates, bowls and even warm up your coffee. It works with different kitchenware. It is also flameless which is good for the environment and my kitchenware will not have a hot spot. It is very light, made of silicone and needs access to electricity. The food warmer tray is easy to clean, has four temperature settings to warm your food. It needs around 15 minutes to cool down before you store. It is very flexible and easy to roll, strap it with a Velcro, put in a bag and it uses a smaller space when you store it. The plug is not attached, and you must play attention when you store that you have all the accessories.In my testing, I use 2 half trays (aluminum and stainless). Put 3 cups of water and the temperature is 70 F. Set it in 215 F temperature with 1 hour timer and set the child lock. After 1 hour, the temperature of water is 110F in the stainless tray and 105F in the aluminum tray. It means the food will get warm. The heat is not evenly distributed in the mat and the highest in the middle. It did turn off after 1 hour. I highly recommend this product.

Great Concept, but Some Limitations

The IMXSUMDA Food Warming Mat has a lot of potential but falls short in a few areas. The full surface heating works well for keeping food warm, and the 5 temperature settings and timer are convenient features. The ability to switch between °F and °C is a nice touch for versatility.However, the mat doesn’t maintain heat for as long as I expected. After a few hours, the warmth starts to decrease, and it’s not as effective for longer events or parties. It’s also a bit tricky to figure out the best settings for different types of food, as some items need more heat than others. While it’s compact and easy to roll up for storage, the overall user experience could be more intuitive, especially for those who don’t use warming mats often.For daily use or buffet-style settings, it works, but don’t expect it to be a long-term solution for keeping food hot for extended periods. It’s good for short-term use, but there are other warming trays on the market that perform better for more intense or professional use.
