Beautiful design! Slow close lids! Kept food warm! We had many people asking where we purchased these chafing dishes! We do entertain quite a bit and these not only look good, but work great!
One of my most favorite Amazon purchases ever!!! I got so many compliments at my event.
Classy product and impressive on the look easy clean up and like the fact that it takes hot or cold (the bottom does sweat if you use cold so just put a towel or something under it so you do not have a puddle of water to clean up. I really liked the soft close door on it so you did not hear the lid clanging and such when people were going into the chauffer. The only thing that I was not a fan of was the metal feet do are not protected on the bottom meaning if you put it on a kitchen island or something it could scratch it as the metal is roughly cut. i did cut my hand on an edge was just like a papercut but just be aware that it is rough cut metal.
Love this product, will order more. Please make sure the cradle that holds the sterno is secured and the hydraulic lid had to be reinforced. Don’t throw the box away because the screws and washers were trapped under the inside flap.
LIKES: absolutely beautiful, professional grade features (closing feature, glass see-thru lid, internal water level lines, large capacity. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I like to hold backyard parties during the warmer months and it is always difficult timing the meat so it is ready but not too early and then you need to keep the insects away from it. This chafing dish is awesome for making that easy and it looks incredible. I also use it while volunteering at helper events for my religion when we have volunteers come to do weekend cleanups. You never know how many will show up so it is nice to have the food warm and protected for extended periods of time. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. The initial price is a concern, but when you look at the quality and all of the features I think it is totally worth the price.
These chafers were warped. They do not close completely because they are bent out of shape.
I love this dish. The quality is excellent, it holds a ton of food (9.5 qt), and it genuinely keeps your buffet warm.
