Adequate for Home Use
I searched the manufacturer's website for the details below. Below is information I was able to discover once the compression chamber arrived. Hopefully, my additional information will help you more confidently make a compression chamber decision. I am an avid home cook, who frequently vacuum seals leftovers and buys in bulk. This sealer will not work for roast or half a chicken. I tried the half chicken and the door wouldn't close properly. It's possible It won't work with bone-in chicken breast either. It will work well on steaks, ground, and chops. It might work on pot roast, I have yet to compress this cut. I will post a pot roast cut result later when I have one to try. There are many different models of food compression vacuums, but I found this model to be sufficient for my home needs, especially at the Black Friday sales price of $199. The unit is fairly compact and fits nicely on my counter without being too obnoxious. With the lid open the unit measurement is 17 inches high. With my upper cabinets providing a bit more than 17 inches of space, I was able to lift the lid with just enough clearance to get it to stay in the open position. The lid is made of heavy glass, so if it won't clear your cabinets to stay open, be aware that it could slam down on your hands, as you're placing the bags in the chamber. I filled textured bags measuring a little over 4 mils thick with great results. I've included images with measurements of the bags and the fill quantity. Keep in mind when looking at my posted images, I believe I filled the bags to the highest capacity. I don't advise going over what I tried. I plan on picking up various cuts of meat to test how many pounds I can load into the bags without a problem. I used 8.0 x 11.5 inch bags, the Chamber can hold a bigger bag than I used if needed. I will fill a bigger bag and post the outcome later. The turkey gravy I compressed, was a thin consistency, and the beef broth soup was homemade and was chilled so it was a thicker consistency. Each time the compressor was doing its job, I was a little stressed thinking that I would have an overflow situation because the liquid did come up towards the seal bar. So don't worry if that happens to you, as long as you don't fill past the measurements I provided on my bags you should be okay.

Limited bag size, otherwise REALLY good!
This is a great vac-sealer for meats, as the vacuum doesn't pull out the moisture prior to sealing like the chamberless vac-sealers. I own both, use both, & like both. For sealing wet things (chili, meat, chicken parts for instance) this chamber is great as the vacuum isn't as messy. This is a small chamber, so anything bigger than 8"x 8" this won't work. The default is medium vacuum & seal. I like bumping both to high, which you must do every time you plug it in to use.

Great Product
Works great!Used for soup, sausage, burger, and jerky!Caution: make sure the bags you’re using fit properly in the machine. Make sure the bags are facing the correct way. If you do not do either of those, it won’t seal properly or won’t suck out all unnecessary air.

It’s a great starter
I was disappointed that I couldn’t put jars inside because it’s not deep enough, but you can buy the canisters to seal jars with separately. It won’t fit gallon mylar bags which is what I use the most, but it fits quart and small odd shaped bags. It does come with some clear sealing bags and they work great. I do intend on buying a bigger one at some point but I will stick to this brand. This one will have to do for a few years until then. I’ll just start doing individual portions in mylar instead of family sized with a lot of things. All in all it’s a great buy- just know your gallon bags won’t fit.

Compact, Powerful, Cute
Before purchasing this unit, I asked a neighbor about his experiences with vacuum sealers. (Because he's a big-time hunter and I figured....) Anyway, he said he'd had one but wound up not using because his wife didn't like it on the kitchen counter, and it weighed a ton so was inconvenient to store and set-up between uses. However, this unit, which is the size of a small ink-jet printer, is very do-able as a permanent fixture on our kitchen island. Granted, we've only had it for a day, but it's made quick work of 50 ripe avocados we had--many of which probably would be in the trash in the next few days but, instead, are now safely sealed and resting in our freezer. Set-up and operation was a snap, clean-up was zero, and the unit is among our most quiet kitchen appliances. We chose a vacuum chamber instead of a bag vacuum because we intend to use this unit regularly, appreciate the useable bag variety (and their relative cheapness), along with the prospect of being able to seal liquids (although I'm not convinced we could not also do with a bag-sealer type). Anyway, we like the unit, the company seems honorable, and the price seemed fair. One caveat about the price, however: The little tube for the external vacuum option was not included in the unit purchase, essentially adding a necessary $40 charge when bundled with a 3 canister package, and I think this was a "cheap" shot. It did include a healthy bundle of sample bags, however....

Love love love this vacuum sealer
This is one of the best vacuum sealers I have ever used. I wish I had bought it long time ago. I didn't want to spend so much money on one. But after buying a few of the cheaper ones, thinking I would be ok... Nope, spend the extra to have the best...I thought I needed a bigger one but the upside is. I seal everything in smaller portions and I think it's better in the end.thank you

Great product
I have had this unit for a year now and it has worked flawlessly. I had wanted a chamber sealer for years and this was the first economical one I found. The only downside is I had hundreds of bags from my old non-chamber unit and I have to cut about 1 inch off the top to get them to fit.
