The first thing to know is that these are very tall. Far too tall to fit in the average kitchen cabinet. It's a good thing the packaging is so sturdy because I store them inside it on a shelf in my pantry! I don't often drink bubbly wine so that situation is fine by me.The design is unconventional but attractive. They're lightweight but really not as spindly as they look. **UPDATE**These glasses are just too tall! - I could not find any place where they might fit in my cabinets - and cleaning the, is beyond a pain; so difficult to reach entire inside, no way to use dishwasher - and feel so fragile, I have no idea how to get them cleaned without breaking one. —> Definite downgrade from 4 to 3 STARS 🌟._._._._._._._._._._._.These champagne flutes came surprisingly nicely packaged and very well protected in individually carved out foam and a giftable solid box.Unpacking them was a little of a challenge - some stuck to the bottom some to the top of the foam wedges - so be careful. - What immediately is noticeable is the extremely delicate thin glass on wall and stem, and the very light weight. - These glasses do make the nice kling sound of crystal but feel very fragile; the stem is very and somewhat un-proportionally long and at 26cm/10.5” tall one will have a challenge finding adequate space for them in smaller cupboards. - The glass bottom has a unique rounded dip that allegedly enhances flavor by helping oxygen reaching the champagne but is a feature I would not have expected in champagne but more in wine glasses, and is hard to confirm. - These glasses will be very difficult to clean, make sure you rinse them before first use as there are little pieces of foam stuck to the. - At nearly $10/glass this set feels overpriced for what you get.OVERALL.**A very nicely and securely packaged set with timeless and elegant but very thin and fragile glasses that are extremely light and very tall, making it difficult to find a fitting spot in cupboards. - Sound indicates crystal but overpriced.🌟Verdict🌟 => 3 STARS: *DOWNGRADED* from 4 Stars: wouldn’t buy and cannot use (storage/cleaning issues)=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_⭐️ -> (*My RATE SCALE*: 5=perfect; 4=minor imperfections; 3=on fence; not sure if I’d buy again; 2= too many problems; 1= shouldn’t be sold or is dangerous).>> -> Please NOTE: I consider 4 Stars a very high rating.
These arrived in pristine condition and I was stunned immediately when I saw them. I liked the way they looked online, but they were even more beautiful in person. They're heavy-weight and not cheap by any means - definitely a quality item for certain. I hand-washed them just to be on the safe side, although it does say that you could put them in the dishwasher on the top-rack. I have a feeling they'll make it to the dishwasher soon enough, but I didn't want to chance it on the first day. I can't wait to use them for the first time.
