Pearls are firmly attached

I bought these to use at a shower and they were perfect. Were there imperfections in the cuts? I never looked as it draped over itself. Can I wash them? Don't care - they were runners, so they should not need to be washed. However, if they needed cleaning, I would probably spot clean - tulle is so fragile and the pearls could rip off.What was important to me was the length (as described) and how secure the pearls were attached (very firmly - all pearls remained on the runner).
