This product is very easy to use. I wish I would have gotten it sooner. Very easy to clean as well. Shreds cheese like a dream. Can shred a 16 oz block of cheese in seconds. Love the colors they offer as well. Very safe to use I don’t have to worry about getting my fingers when I’m shredding or grating things. Very well worth it.
Works great! Got it to make Pommes Anna. The blades are super sharp, cut down a bunch of potatoes like nothing in to thinly sliced pieces. Used the other blade piece to shredd up teh cheese. Simple easy to use, wash, and store. Great kitchen tool. Would recommend!
Perfectly made device no complaints. Very easy setup and my arms are grateful for the ease and comfort use. I got this for grating cheese blocks and it works wonderfully. Easy cleanup fully comes apart to clean thoroughly. Love love love my new kitchen toy Quality of life has just increased lol.
This not a bad grater, but it does get cheese stuck around the inside, on the sides, of the rolling area. You just have to manually grate those pieces and that's OK. It's very easy to clean and packaged well. Read the dire lions before using it, and wash it up. Not bad for the price, but I also got it on sale.
I no longer buy shredded cheese, with this device I shred a whole block of cheese in 30 seconds. Clean up was a breeze. Comes either different attachments for different ways to shred different foods. Life changing & time saving.
After my last handheld cheese grater broke, I decided to try this kind of grater. My mom had something similar to this back the late 90s called a "salad shooter". It was all metal, bulkier, and heavy, with suction cups that didn't hold onto surfaces well, making it something we'd use only on certain occasions.This, on the other hand, is lightweight, compact and has a much better grip on surfaces.To use, you just take the base, attach it to a surface and lock in place, add the desired grater, attach the handle from the back and turn the know to lock the grater in place.There are three graters: fine (for finely shredded cheese), course (for shredding hard vegetables like carrots or bigger cheese shreds) and thin slice.Before, grating by hand was extremely slow, especially if I was doing a large amount for pizza or lasagna. But this grater makes it easy and quick. The design makes it easy to grate things in a short amount of time.The only issue is that you will have to cut up you cheese / vegetables to make it fit. Usually, with a two pound block, I just cut it into four pieces and grind away.I don't have a dishwasher, so I can't really comment on that. But it is easy to clean by hand.So if you grate cheese and /or vegetables often and are tired of uncomfortable cheese graters , then I highly recommend buying this.
This little cheese grater is the bomb! I am blind and had no issues putting it together in about 2 minutes! My son works at a cheese/dairy plant and is always bringing home specialty cheeses. Parm is my favorite, but it almost gave me tennis elbow trying to grate the whole block! This grater had it done in about 30 seconds! Perfect little pieces of parm cheese ready to put on my pizza! It also cuts cheese into perfectly size slices, (which I can never seem to do.) It comes apart super easy, and I am able to store it in a drawer with no problems! I looked at some electric cheese graters, and wow, are they expensive. Gave this a try and I can't imagine anything easier to use!!Just bought one for my mom and my sister for Christmas presents! It seems of very good quality and should last for quite a while! Love it, highly recommend! Can't beat the price! Get rid of those nasty handheld graters, and give this one a whirl!Update: Still loving this handy little tool! It still works perfect and is so easy to use and clean! My husband loves to use it to make home made hash browns. I am back today to buy another one for a wedding shower gift. One of my all-time favorites from AMZ!!
