This cheese slicer has become a go-to in our kitchen! It handles block cheese with ease and gives clean, consistent cuts—perfect for charcuterie boards or just snack time. The stainless steel feels sturdy, and it works just as well on butter, sausage, and even fruit. It’s surprisingly versatile for such a simple gadget. Easy to clean, easy to store, and saves time versus using a knife. Great little tool that gets used more than we expected!
This unit is well made and easy to use. It’s compact and stores easily. Blade is sharp and cuts hard cheeses with little effort. Cheese does not stick to the blade. It cleans up easily and quickly. Works well on summer sausage as well.
This little slicer has given me better service than all the other more expensive slicers I have used. It will slice about anything you want to slice. When it comes to Roma tomatoes I have to make a cut and then slice. Roma tomatoes and some peppers have a tuft skin and the blade just isn't sharp enough to slice through the tuft skin. It does a great job on cheese.
It's way better than a hand slicer in my opinion, I can get more consistency and control with this, might help if you let the cheese be more room temperature, I know that sounds wrong but I accidentally had my cheese out for awhile and I was able to get thinner and more consistent slices at that temp, but its well made not hard to use or clean really
Some food slides on the metal making it difficult to cut straight.
As much as this cheese cutting tool should perform the task it is expected to do, I'll state that it does the job, with limitations. After using it a few times I felt like it was too small, not heavy enough and cleaning the tool was equivalent to cleaning a cheese grater, caution is advised. Lastly, the edges of the cutting surface were not machined properly. Meaning the edges are sharp to the touch and could cut skin and caution is advised. I took cloth sanding blocks to smooth out the edges. Overall, I worked, not sure I would purchase the product again.
Using a knife is really difficult for my partner with Parkinson's. He can use this to slice cheese or vegetables. It works really well and is so easy to clean...it even has gridlines for you to measure. I feel so lucky that we found this one as opposed to the other ones I was seeing.
