Dish is floppy, not suitable for chilli, and other stout dishes ...
Easy to clean, very heat resistant, no flavor transfer from use to use. I bought this as a chilli scoop, and it's not really up to the job, but its great for soups and other lighter weight jobs, I'm happy with the purchase, just not what I purchased it for. I do recommend this. After all it is listed as a ladle, not a scoop!

I bought this to replace an another ladle that was starting to discolor and peel. I don't know if the silicon version will do the same in the future but it's looking solid at this point and I have no concerns that the silicone is leeching into the food. However, the scoop is flexible and not solid like a plastic ladle.
