Stunning presentation
This knife has a unique presentation with the etched dragon on the blade and the black resin and wood handle. I consider this a show piece among my other knives. It's razor sharp so be extra care when using and mind your fingers. My knives are all displayed on a wall holder and this particular knife really stands out. My other knives are gone for professional sharpening so I can't post a picture of how it amazing it looks next to the other chef knives. This knife arrives very sharp and I expect it will remain so as I don't intend to use for everyday tasks. I got it primarily to impress my friends who will ooh and aah over the dragon blade and the beautiful handle and think me a master chef with rare knives-lol. I know they will want to know where it came from and how affordable it is. This unique knife would make a very nice gift for someone building a knife collection and at a very good price point.

'Sharpest knife in the drawer' kind of decision.
I am so glad I took a chance with this knife because not only is it the prettiest blade that I've ever owned, but it is also the sharpest knife I've ever used. I think the price is costly, but considering the beauty and functionality of it, it is more than worth buying. I like the little safety pieces that came with the knife. The ergonomic design makes this knife more comfortable for smaller hands or those who might suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This kitchen knife is a must-have. It is reasonably lightweight for what it is meant for. I love this knife! It even comes in a cute storage case.

Extremely Sharp and Well Balanced, More Precision Slicer Than Workhorse
This is a very sharp, lightweight chef’s knife with a clear emphasis on slicing and presentation. Out of the box, the blade is extremely sharp — noticeably sharper than my current knives at the moment — and it had no trouble cleanly slicing tomatoes, apples, and lettuce with zero dragging or wedging. The thinner blade geometry explains both the sharp feel and the lighter weight, and despite that reduced mass, the knife still feels well balanced in hand.Fit and finish are good, and the visual presentation is a big part of the appeal. The handle is attractive and comfortable, the pins are cleanly installed, and the etched dragon artwork on the blade is detailed without feeling gimmicky. The knife comes in a magnetic presentation box with a maintenance card and care guidance, which makes it feel gift-worthy rather than just utilitarian. It’s worth noting that this knife does not have a bolster like my other chef knives. This isn’t a criticism or a quality concern, but it’s something buyers who prefer a bolster should be aware of. I personally do prefer one, though the absence here doesn’t reduce the quality of the knife and reinforces that it’s designed more for precision slicing than rough work. That said, this is clearly not a do-everything workhorse knife. Even though the blade is stainless steel (7Cr17MoV), the manufacturer’s care instructions advise avoiding bones, frozen foods, hard surfaces, and acidic residue. In practice, that puts this knife in a more delicate category than my everyday Sabatier or Berghoff knives, both of which I routinely use for heavier tasks without concern.Overall, this knife performs very well at what it’s intended to do — clean, precise slicing — but it’s not something I’d reach for as my primary kitchen knife. If you’re looking for a sharp, lightweight slicer with strong visual appeal and are willing to treat it accordingly, it’s a solid option. For my kitchen, it earns four stars because it’s more specialized than versatile.

Cutting Edge!
The cool factor of the etched dragon blade alone makes this knife a winner, but it's also a great knife in the kitchen. It's super sharp (at least when it arrives) and easily slices through all my meat and veggies. The knife feels balanced and the handle is handsome with resin and wood features. I haven't had to resharpen the blade as it's still new, but in the meantime I'm going to protect it like the instructions say, and avoid cutting bone, and other hard objects, as well as wiping it clean after use, especially after cutting acidic foods. It comes in a magnetically closing, red velvet and foam case, which is a nice touch, and not bad for storage if you have some closet space. Overall, we're thinking this is a great knife and hope that it will last and retain its sharp edge for a reasonable amount of time.

It makes the cut
As an amateur chef, I’ve used many knives in my kitchen, but the OneGauntlet Chef Knife is truly stunning! The dragon blade design adds a unique flair to my kitchen that I just love. The ergonomics of the burlwood and black resin handle mean I can chop for hours without discomfort. The stainless steel really does the trick—sharp, sturdy, and it holds the edge beautifully. This knife has made cooking so much more enjoyable for me. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality kitchen tools! 5 stars!

Sharp and attractive
I was apprehensive about this. But the packaging was quite attractive, the knife is sharp and a good size, the etching is clear and very detailed. The handle is sturdy. With the reinforced epoxy covering over the wood.

Sharp, Well-Balanced Knife with Eye-Catching Dragon Blade
This knife immediately catches your eye with its striking dragon etching on the blade—it’s genuinely impressive looking. Beyond aesthetics, though, it performs really well in actual use. Right out of the box, the edge is incredibly sharp and handles everything from vegetables to meat with ease. The design feels well-balanced in hand, and the handle combines resin and wood elements that give it an attractive, quality appearance. Since it’s still brand new, I haven’t needed to sharpen it yet. I’m following the care guidelines carefully—avoiding bones and hard materials, wiping it down after each use, and being especially careful after cutting anything acidic to help maintain that edge. The presentation is thoughtful too—it arrives in a foam-lined case with red velvet interior and a magnetic closure. It’s a nice protective option if you have the cabinet or closet space for it. So far, I’m really pleased with this purchase and optimistic it’ll hold up well with proper care.
