Perfect for salad veg and for soft foods

I was already using the Chef Preserve with its reusable bags, but I wanted something that would provide a vacuum seal but not compress the foods. These have worked out perfectly. I use the largest one for several days' worth of salad, and the other two for leftovers that I'm not going to use up in a day or two, or for softer foods like berries that shouldn't get squashed in a regular vacuum bag. They also store in the fridge better than an irregularly shaped bag that doesn't stand up by itself. I hesitated on buying a handheld sealer for a while because most brands didn't also have glass containers, but I'm very glad now to have the Chef Preserve and to have these dishes to use with it.

These containers are perfect for storage of frozen or refrigerated food that does not work as well with the vacuum bags. They keep the shape of the more delicate items while removing the air. Very easy to use and see what's inside.

You need to lift up the vacuum tab to lift the lid off.

Great product. Totally leak proof easy to clean and it is great to be able to vacuum seal your food for storage. Just made large pot of soup and I was able to store it in these glass containers and vacuum seal it.
