This CHeflee Multifunctional Stand/Mixer is a Jack of all Trades, here's a simple Pro's/Con's List:Pro's:(1.) It Shreds Cheese Quickly and Easily(2.) The Mixing Part with the 8 Quart Stainless Steel Bowl seems to work as Good as my Old KitchenAid mixer.(3.) The speed control knob is easy to use and works and functions great.(4.) It's easy enough to clean for the parts of it that I've used it for.Con's:(1.) This is more of a Nick Pick than a Con, but the Blue color that this comes in is flat and pale compared to the Silvery Blue pictures of it on Amazon, so I wouldn't buy it in this color again, in my opinion it's an ugly Flat Blue.(2.) The plastic housing could stand to be a little thicker to make it feel a little more substantial and durable, but overall it's not too bad.I haven't used this mixer for every function that it could possibly be used for, but for what I have used it for, it's worked great so far.I can definitely recommend this multifunctional Stand/Mixer if you're tight on counter space, or if you simply don't want to clutter up your countertops.I haven't used it long enough to know it's true durability, or its full performance to price ratio yet, but I'm currently rating it a Solid 4 out of 5 Stars so far, but I'll update my Review in the future if anything changes. From: Rick H.
Look very nice
I so wanted to love this machine BUT:I already have a Kitchen Aid with a meat grinder attachment that works great. My wife and I make a significant amount of sausage each year since we hate the added ingredients found in commercial sausages. Plus, we can make sausages that cannot be bought anywhere. My hope was, this machine was going to replace the Kitchen Aid (KA) since the grinding, and more so, the mixing of the meat paste is rather hard on our old KA. What I found wrong right away was the grinding attachment doesn't assemble correctly. There is a small pin on the exit end of the grinder that holds the sizing plates from rotating. When I first used it, the pin allowed the plate to spin and the grinding of the meat stopped. What I found was, the grinding corkscrew does not sit far into the base grinding unit to allow the sizing plate to go far enough into the housing. This in turn means the small pin did not engage with the sizing plate.I took it all apart and removed the sealing washer from the base of the corkscrew and this allows the pin/plate engagement. That fixed that, kind of. The pin barely hangs onto the plate but if the large outer lock nut isn't set correctly, the plate will spin. ALSO..... the seal has now been removed and meat paste gets pressed into the base machine. It's not a big deal but it does cause a little extra work when cleaning. With that said, we have made a few dozen pounds to sausages over the last few months using this machine. It has just enough power to grind and mix our paste. It grunts a little but the job gets done. The mixing of the paste is the hardest on our KA and of course the hardest on this machine. Also, our KA is a large 6 quart unit and would mix 2 1/2 lbs of paste at a time. This mixer is smaller and will do almost 2 lbs. All of our recipes are for 5 pound batches, meaning we have three batches of paste to mix for each batch instead of two. What I expect. I expect this machine will die soon. It really has a hard time mixing the paste and that is what we wanted this machine to do. Only time will tell but I can tell it labors significantly at times. For general use: I expect this machine would be fine for anyone making cookies, mixing breads, etc..... The blender unit is handy and easy to clean. The meat grinder will not work for most people. If it matters to you, it is a very pretty kitchen tool, prettier than our KA.Unfortunately........... I CANNOT recommend this kitchen tool. Not a good value for the money and its durability is lacking.Buy a KA and add the accessories you need.
This mixer is exactly as described and works great for everyday home use. I expect it to last for generations. The bowl is a really nice size for making bread, the motor has plenty of power, and all of the attachments came included and were easy to set up, disassemble, and clean. I love having the mixer, blender, and grinder all in one, and it saves space and makes cooking and baking so much easier. It’s simple to use, runs smoothly, and feels sturdy without being overly complicated. I use it for baking, mixing, and quick kitchen prep, and it’s been a great addition to our home. For the price, this is a very good value and does exactly what I hoped it would do.Would definitely recommend for moms or home cooks who want versatility without spending a fortune.
