I am an avid home baker and have tried different brands of loaf pans, including the Wilton brand. By far, this is the best among all loaf pans as the silicone coating makes it the most nonstick, easy to clean and the coating will never chip or crack. Highly recommended!
Works great for a single serving
Nothing sticks to the pan! Works great and looks great too. Love them.
I was disappointed that the pan was so small. The measurements included the top of the pan, not the inside. Not sure how I will use it. Was expensive for how small it was.
It works well for what its designed for. It releases the bread fairly easy and isn't sticky. Its light weight and doesn't take a lot of damage
Nonstick bread loaf pans come and they go. The nonstick surface slowly degrades so I'm inclined to replace them promptly. This one has served pretty well so far. The only thing we use it for around here is banana or zucchini bread, and each loaf and piece has come out smoothly without leaving much residue at all.One thing I was worried about was about the size of the pan. I was afraid we might have to dial back the size of the recipe a little but that hasn't been the case. The pan accommodates our recipes as we have always made them. So it adds up to standard usage...and while the wide lip hasn't come into play for us, it gives a bit of wiggle room. The wide lip is also helpful for picking it up when wearing a baking mitt.I like the idea of its being made of carbon steel, and they claim the coating is safe. I can only take them at their word but I can assert that, so far, I'm not seeing any breakdown in the material and we've been using this once a week for the last two months, including cutting bread in the pan. Pretty good value.
So first, this has earned a place in my kitchen, which means something else had to go. I'm super picky about cookware. I spend a lot of money on on kitchenware in general, but I keep my cookware for decades. I also treasure my Gran's cast iron skillets.Last year, I bought and tested about 6 different brands of bakeware. The issue is that some brands used to be great, but have now been sold or the manufacturing process has changed, and they are not great, not even good.Thank goodness I found these Chefmade products through Vine. Here's shy I love this pan:1. For me they have a unique innovative design. There is a 3/4 inch edge around the whole pan. This makes it so much easier to handle hot pans. I baked a 2 person Lasagna in this loaf pan and it was so much easier and safer to maneuver this pan around vs my other loaf pans.2. The workmanship quality is top notch. The whole pan is molded from one piece of steel. None of the sides are folded. The edges are tightly rolled. I do not think this will rust, but note it is not dishwasher safe.3. The coating is non-stick and cleanup is easy, The color is more neutral vs. the listing pix.4. Carbon steel is lightweight, strong and durable.As part of the Vine program, I sometimes get the product before the listing is perfect. The listing currently says this is (a) dishwasher safe and (b) that accessories includes mugs, cups and saucers. Neither of those statements are accurate, but I bet that info will be corrected shortly.Overall, I love this pan. And I'm super impressed with Chefmade.
