I needed to replace really old Teflon muffin tins. I always use muffin/cupcake wrappers but my old ones needed to be retired. These are really nice and back well
Better than I expected. Nonstick is perfect and easy to clean. Baking was even also. I liked it so well I bought two loaf pans.
This is way better than I expected! I don’t need to buy pricey canelés from a bakery anymore because I can make them easily at home.😎
Came back from the south of France and had try making my own madeleines. The round scallop shape is used at a favorite coffee shop in Nice. I brushed the shells with melted butter and a basic online batter recipe baked perfect, slid easily out of the pan, lightly brown on the edges. Minimal effort to clean.
Not wanting to spend money on copper molds since I wasn't sure if I wanted to really dive into canele making, I settled on this carbon steel pan. To my surprise, they have actually been baking pretty nicely after experimenting with different temperatures. For my oven, I have found that baking at 450F for 20 minutes, then 350F for 60 minutes produces a nice crust. They also slip out of the molds very easily.
I purchased this because I found a recipe for cakes baked with inside filling. The pan is heavy and easy to clean. The cakes come out with good indentations and no breakage. I purchased another set of 4 from a competitor, but those are very different and the designs do not come out at all.
