I had a bunch of cherries that needed pitting. This tool definitely made it easy. Be aware that it makes a little bit of a mess, there just isnt any away around it, but its by far the most efficient way of doing it.

after not liking results with tart cherries i tried with larger bing type cherries. works fin with the larger cherries. not for use with small tart cherries.
Love, love, love this cherry pitter! We’ve used it multiple time now. I use it to pack cherries in the kids lunchboxes and use it to pack as a snack for poolside. So easy to use.
I was a little hesitant because the picture made it kind of cheap, but I needed a cherry pitter quick. This thing is far from cheaply made! It’s very durable and super easy to use. My 5 yr old likes to help me. The only downfall, which is an easy fix, the cherry juice splattered on my wall and looks like something bled all over.
Kind of pain but what did I expect?!!
