This cherry pitter works well. It’s easy to use and allows for multiple cherries to be pitted at once. Although it sometimes doesn’t completely push the pit out, it always seems to puncture enough for the pit to get started and it can be easily pulled out. This is very important as I extra cautious about pitting cherries for my children.
This is the second cherry pit extractor that we bought because the kids eat a lot of cherries. Very nice and well designed contraption. It does what it was designed for very well. The pits come out of the cherries every time, however, they sometimes are hanging on the cherry and need to be removed manually. It saves time especially if you do this for children.
Excellent cherry pitter. Easy to use and clean. Occasionally the seed is left hanging on - like a hanging Chad. Not too often though- just be careful to check.
If I could give zero stars I would. It's a piece of junk. The cherries jam in the pitter or stay on the pegs. It's messy. If you want to do olives FORGET this... its faster to slice them off the pits! Save your money!
This is a horrible design!! You actually need to STEP on the unit in order to pit the cherries!! So very hard to use. If you push on it with your hands it just bruises the cherries!! Find something that does one at a time. It would be faster than messing around with this tool!
As soon as this arrived I bought cherries! I love cherries but have not been able to eat them since I got dentures. I put the cherries in and it works great. The seeds came right out! It was easy to use and the easy to clean up.
